got robocall from 401-384-2970 caller ID said "UNKNOWN NAME" on Tuesday 5-06-14 @ 239 PM.

Message was from "Medical Alert' for a FREE medical Alert System..........press 1 to talk to a rep......"
Pressed 1 and a male came on the line and he asked  "Who am I speaking to"
I told him 'You are calling 911 U dirty expletive expletive and I then blew the "SCAMMER HORN".
Gave him more expletives and more of the  "SCAMMER HORN" until the SCAMMER bailed.

Callers like this and dozens of other unscrupulous scum bags are making a mockery out of the so-called "No call" list.  

We have been on the federal and state "No-Call List" since their inception, and we still get multiple telemarketing every week, sometimes four or five every day.  I have already tried putting a stop to them by registering a formal complaint.  What a joke!  I have also tried talking to the caller and asking them to remove our number.  Most are automated calls, many of them from a foreign country.  When I bring up the No-Call law and ask what gives them the right to violate it, they hang up.  

Now, I just use the caller ID and don't bother to answer the telephone if the number is the least bit suspicious.  Anyone who wants to reach my wife and I better not have a block on their caller ID.

Caller just hung up, no message.  I am on the Do Not Call list.

Gave him more expletives and promised even more if they call again and then blew the "SCAMMER HORN" more
until the SCAMMER hung up.

Nobody is ever there when you answer, but they call & call & call!!!!!

Received this call today AGAIN- No one there when I answered on 2nd ring. Called # back and it says # has been disconnected???

This appears to be one of the latest numbers calling with a bogus medical alert offer. It is obviously a scam, because a legitimate company would not violate the DNCR.

Calling this operation a telemarketer is giving this operation too much credit. So I have chosen to list is a a prank call.

Have received numerous calls from this phone number.  Never answer unfamiliar numbers.  Decided to answer today and there was no one there.  When I called the number back, it says it is disconnected.

Calls from this number began on 3/20/14 @ 9:30am - call rings and hangs up seconds before answering machine picks up.

2 weeks ago I began blocking numbers (22 so far) - calls have nearly stopped except for a random one here and there using a new number thinking they will trick me into picking up the phone.

I never answer unknown numbers.

THIS NUMBER CALL THREE TIMES A WEEK TO MY PHONE, NO MESSEGE. THEY JUST HUNG UP.

Calling to sell medical alert devices. Company is Medical Guardian out of Philadelphia. CEO is Geoff Gross who is on linkedin. I went to the website and left a complaint to remove me from their robo call system or I would file charges. Also, they have numerous complaints on BBB for advertising. Leave a complaint there also. Find out Mr. Gross' number and start calling him at home. See how he likes it!

Got a call yesterday.  They didn't make it through the telemarketer screening I have built in to my phone system, but they are now completely blacklisted.

-Auto dial- hangs up if not answered by 2nd ring.  No ID Call back & number is out of service.

I suspect bill collectors wanting to get something.

Have had several calls from this number. Caller ID indicates Warwick, Rhode Islamd. No message. I'm going to block it. I too am on the DNCR registry.

Yet another call, saw the called ID and didn't answer this time..Hung up with answering machine kicked in but not before I could plainly hear the person say "Oh F***" before slamming down their phone..This is getting ridiculous. Can the FCC not do anything? We have and keep renewing Do Not Call but its not stopping calls like it once did, they don't care about it at all because they know they will never be caught.

Got the same call, guess our tax dollars are being used wisely by the FTC.

How can these companies or whatever they are bounce numbers that have been disconnected?  Surely The Phone Companies Know This.   Maybe some screwed laser can find a way to make a class action against the phone companies.  Then maybe in reaction the phone companies would be some kind of measures in place to stop this line bouncing and scamming.

I bought a new phone and i can block any number i want..it rings 1 quick 1/2 ring and then it goes quite...i blocked my cell number and tried it to see what it does and quick ring then it plays busy sound..best damn phone i ever bought..i get a lot of these numbers and block them all.. another one is 516-800-0000...scam lmoa..Panasonic KX-TG4741

Keep getting calls from 401-384-2970.  Very annoying.  Why don't they stop.  How can I get them to stop calling.

Warwick, RI - answered and no one said anything - so I started to sing "Happy Birthday"  they hung up - guess they didn't like my singing.

I didn't answer.  Caller ID said Warwick, RI.  Thanks to all that post.  Just added this to my block list.
