I have been getting calls from this number and 2 others, same people for a year, I have received 2 calls since on The Do Not Call list, and filed complaints.  The number is not a working number when you call it back.  Also they (TRY) to make you think it is YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY when it's not, they say it is urgent to call to lower your rate on your card, you need to talk to us now, and it says press 1, I don't because what if you gave them permission to charge 1000's of min. on phone or something, I hang up.  They called me at 4:36PM eastern  on 7/12/11 again and now it says about government program, help, can lower your rate now. Same people.  And the phone calls always SCARE me because they ALSO say About how important it is to call us immed., and after they make you think something is MAJOR wrong with your acct. like identity theft, or overdrawn, they say Don't Worry there is nothing wrong with your acct.  but you need to talk to us.

They called my cell phone. I always do what I need to do in order to say "Take me off your calling list", so I pushed the #1 and as soon as I started to say it, she hung up on me. I'd love to slap her sideways the rude winch.

Freaking annoying and rude. How about we all me in RI and verbally attack and annoy them??? Let's get their names and numbers and license plates and start bombarding them with legal harassment and see how they like it.

I have received the same scam calls from the RI and TX numbers so far today!!

Same scam $%#%^ that call on 302-232-3130 and 302-232-3130 also. Until someone shuts them down (they may be in Hungary) these scam calls will continue under different numbers and city locations because all those are spoofed.

No one should ever give out any info to them. If a recording starts simply hang up, legitimate credit card companies will not call with a recorded message since those types of sales calls are illegal in most states - either for interest rate changes or debt collection.

Some b***s*** about lowering my credit debt.  Of which I have none.

Who & why

Got the call from this number, something about credit cards and this was our final offer to take care of our debt (we pay our bills on time) - and I took the bait and pressed 1 when prompted - it automatically disconnects, and if you try to call back - the number is not a working number???? How can that be? We too are on the DNCall list.

EXACT same thing happened to me.  And they got mad at me, saying they could not talk with me if they don't have my information.  "How am I suppose to talk to you about your account if you don't give me your information.  I'm not in your house looking at you!"  I reminded her she called me, but apparently from her little spill, she doesn't have any of my information.  Then, the hang up.  And when I tried to call back, a fast busy signal.  I too am on all Do Not Call lists.

Cox has been notified and they promise to take action.  Hopefully these scammers will not be allowed to at least use the Cox network.  Go Google!

If the scammer running the show is monitoring this posting, my message to them:  Get a real job.

It seems they can detect who is calling them and then redirect them to the "The number you are trying to reach is no longer in service.  This is a recording." recording.  Very clever way of getting them off your back.

I got a call as well.. same hang-up experience when I remind them I am on the no-call list.

I just received a call from that number and I told them what I tell them everyday,DO NOT CALL ME ANY MORE! Then I call the do not call registry and register a complaint. What everyone needs to know is felons and drug users make up a large percent of the callers. There is no criminal checking or drug testing being done on these lowlifes. I also tell them that.

I am on BOTH Federal AND state DO NOT CALL LISTS and in the last two months, have utterly been INUDATED with calls from these morons. They HAVE been reported. They ARE being persued for prosecution! They ARE nothing BUT SCAMMERS!!!!!!

Received call from these morons. I am on the DO NOT CALL Federal AND state registries. What part of DO NOT CALL do they not understand????

This number was on my phone caller ID that said it was from Bristol RI.  No message.   Received about the same type call last week, different #, from Massachusetts.  Obviously a scam.  Maybe they hijack someone else's number and use it for a few days and move on to another number.  The thing that bugs me is I'm on the 'Do Not Call' list.

I keep getting these calls to lower our interest rates.  When I say, 'put us on the Do Not Call List," I get hung up on, then they'll call again.  I called them back today and as soon as I told them I want to be placed on their do not call list, I got hung up on.  I called back immediately twice, and get the recording, "This number is no longer in service at this time."  How do we stop them?

The number showed up on my caller I.D. as from Rhode Islamd, picked up the phone and said hello twice (there was someone there) and then click, they humg up, called the number right back and it is DISCONNECTED OR NO LONGER A WORKING NUMBER!!

Caller ID just said Rhode Island.  I have gotten the same call many times, but this is the first from this number.  I didn't pick up.  The message said I could reduce my interest rate blah blah blah.  Obviously a scam.

This number is a scam that starts with a recording, then you must prompt with a 1 to get to a human, who will hang up as soon as you start asking questions.  They say they are "cardmember services" and are trying to lower your interest rates, but in fact they don't even know who you are or what cards you may have.

We continue to get calls from this company... I have started pushing the button that allows me to speak with a rep.  When I ask what company they are from I get hung up on!!!  Let's find the company doing this!!!

Don't answer....that is why they invinted caller ID. If I don't see a name, then it's not getting answered.

I receive at least one of these calls each day on both my home phone and government owned cell phone.  After numerous request to take my number off their list (they hang up every time), I have started to yell obsentities at them.  Each different number, I report to the national do not call list.  Maybe eventually they will go out of business.
