Said calling about a criminal case against me with a bench warrant and to call so they can help me.  A***oles and liars using scare tactics

Funny a christopher shultz called me from this number saying same thing. They were gonna serve me at worknor my house about check fraud. I said first off I don't write checks. He said it was a payday loan i recieved and never paid. They not getting a dime from me. They wanted my credit card info...ya right do I look stupid.

1) Mr. telephone tough guy that called me , please come to my home. 2) There are no such thing as "Process servers" in Massachusetts, only sheriffs and constables serve civil process. 3) The police never get involved with debts because it is civil, not criminal. 4) Anyone that believes that state law requires the collection agency to inform the debtor of litigation prior to service, is a gullible fool. 5) These people are worthless low life scumbags. Hang up on them, and never call them back.

Hey, I just had one call my job but I just started working here like two months ago. I called the number back but gave a fake name and when they guy tried to get me to verify the last four of my social, I was like yeah this has to be a scam. He asked if I lived in Florida and I told him that I did not and he said thank you and hung up on me.

I just received a call from a Derrick Marshall from that same number. They then forwarded me to another person. No one is really saying anything. I gave the number of the work desk that I was sitting in. I have only been at that desk for two months. But I gave a bogus name and they asked me to verify the last four of my social and address with what he said. I was like I am not in that state. Then they guy says thank you and hangs up. Yeah this has to be a scam.

I got the exact same call from the same person today...go figure

Just received a call leaving this number on my voicemail from Jonathan Bucksdale (that's what it sounded like anyway). He said according to my state laws he had to inform me by phone about a summons I would be receiving at home or at work and if I had any questions to call the number. Needless to say I won't be calling...unless to let them know I am aware they are trying to scam me.

ROBO collector from one of these FAKE COMPANIES CALLED my cell several times alledgedly calling from," GLOBAL CHECK PROCESSING," from a man named David Goldstein asking me to contact him at 401-400-7399 (Rhode Island number which is where I reside).  He left several messages and NEVER ONCE STATED My Name!  My caller ID showed this 877 number listed below.  He statedthat he wanted to know if I was "served yet" at my home as he had a CRIMINAL COMPLAINT on behalf of his unnamed Client FOR SOMETHING TO DO WITH CHECK FRAUD!!. HE called from 877-630-6475 &7587!  This is a SCAM....DO NOT SPEAK TO THESE PPL! I had a woman call a few months ago from a number that came up as 000-000-0000.  

She said she was from RI LEGAL SERVICES & THAT she had a summons for me for CHECK FRAUD & WANTED TO RESOLVE IT OVER THE PHONE SO I DIDNT GET A FELONY CHARGE!  SHE EVEN HAD A DOCKET # which I DIDNT FALL FOR BCUZ 2 yrs ago-I had a fake Police or Sheriff officer call me who stated I took a payday loan which was efted into a friends bank account! I WAS TOLD that despite My friends alledged thievery -I had to repay them &theyd pursue my friend after it was pif & wouldnt ever b able to write a check!  I was neive & almost paid them 1500 UNTIL I Mailed a notarized letter to them which was returned (no address existed)!  & they had an 877#&didnt answer the phone like a Police station would and were all Arabs (no offense). All THEY WANT IS YOUR NAME SS# ADDRESS & BANK INFO & $$. THEY STEAL UR Identity TAKE OUT CREDIT CARDS!   Dont fall for any scams! good luck!  btw payday loans cause 87% of this

Yeah I have been recieving calls but no vms. My grandpa just called me saying he just got a call from Robert telling him that I will be arrest for check fraud and that I will be served with papers and a court date. Has any one gotten anything from these people ?

I called him back and asked him if he received my packet for being a moron!! And they hung up on me.. Blahhh

i was called by David Glodstine 1-401-400-7399, 1-877-355-7457 & 1-877-630-7457...about a check fraud case
that is not valid which is why i dont call them back but i want the calls to stop

I just had a call from 214-865-7082.  The caller identified himself as David Goldstein on my v-mail. "Fraudster" came up on my caller ID.   He said  that I should have received a packet in the mail, that I was served for some check fraud that their client has waged....and if I hadn't yet received this packet to call him immediately @ 401-400-7399 so they can resolve this issue.  
I know nothing about this & I have never issued a fraudulent check in my life.   I have not responded but I have blocked this number on my phone.   I know this is a SCAM!!!  I just wish the "do not call" lists worked as I am on 2 of them...State & Fed.

I'll bet this comment is from someone affiliated with these calls!  If you are going to be served it would have already happened!!  The courts do not deal with phone threats or warnings.  How many people have they scared into calling them?  I started receiving these calls 2 yrs ago for my nephew who lives at least 150 miles from me.  Only calls, nothing else.  Now that this has started all over again it may be time to contact city police and s
sheriff  dept, maybe the state too!

Got a robocall from 214.865.7082 at work stating that i would be served with papers and needed to call 401.400.7399 immediately to speak with them.  I googled the number and found this site so i reported the number and call to the AZ attorney general and to our communications department.  I used to investigate scam artists like these scumbags and i would like nothing more than to string them up over a tank of hungry alligators and slowly lower them inside, feet first so they can watch every minute of it.

Wife Got the same came from this lazy two bit piece of s*** that tries to feed off of people that actually goes to work called him back gave him my name and number told him to call me instead. Waiting on the call if your reading the blog about yourself.

got a call to my cell from 214-865-7082.  voice mail to call David Goldstein at 401-400-7399.   Message made no sense and mentioned an Ashley S....   and stressed that I should have been served, I have not.   Called the 214 number and got a man who said he'd remove my number from the case.  He was very rude when I tried to verify my phone number.   I called him an A**hole and hung up...I was trying to help him determine that he had bad information in a case.   These people sound like crooks.   Any legit law firm would not act that way, but would be glad to find out if their contact information is bad.   I had received a similar call yesterday but ignored it.   It was a woman calling that time, however I did not save any information from that call...wish I had now.

Got a call today.  I am in California.  Some automated message.  I hung up! These people should be arrested for fraud!

This same phone number called my home phone number about 30 minutes ago now.  It was a recording it did not specify who the message was for.  It was regarding a file they had received in their office.  I immediately hung up as I know it is a scam!  First of all debt collectors do not just call and leave random msgs for the purpose of collections without first identifying they do indeed have the right number along with the right person and they ALWAYS say who they are calling for!  Second of all NO Debt Collection Agency out there leaves a detailed message saying why they are calling as this one did. As that is against the law!  It is a SCAM..... report them to the FTC and FBI IF they ever call again!  I plan to do the same!  This time I will gather as much info as I can to make my report.

Wow... same here.  Got a call from the "robo" voice saying they were going to serve me papers.  I have not been in a bill collection situation so I know this has nothing to do with me.  I just hope it doesn't keep calling.  Said to call back at that number.  No way am I going to spend an ounce of my time on this fraud.

I received a call from a Jonathan Barksdale on 4/15 stating that he was notifying me in accordance with my state laws that I would be "served" at my residence. He said he was in charge of my "file".

#1.  They never give your name on the message, so how do they know who they are leaving the message with?

#2.  Why would a "process server" from Rhode Island be calling all over the country leaving messages?

I agree that they should be reported to the authorities, which I have already done.

Guy left a message stating he was going to have me served with papers. First of all, process servers NEVER announce their visits. Can someone get the name and address of this outfit? I have not received any correspondence from any company in Rhode Island. Who are they and what the hell do they want???

I just got the same voicemail and they have left about 3 voicemails in about a week with the same recorded message about someone going to serve me blah blah blah. This has for to be an attempt for a nationwide scam since I'm in Texas. This is such a joke. Hopefully they get traced and fined for their scam attempt.

I just received a call from this guy (401)400-7399; let it go to VM since it showed up as "unkown name".  Thanks to the info on here I'm not calling him back and just filed a report.  Hopefully this a** clown can be put in jail for fraud!  Thanks to everyone who has posted on this board about this idiot!
