If everyone who took the time to write a complaint here on this website also wrote an e0mail to the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) these people (scammers) would be out of business by now.

Just set up a "silent" ringtone, and when you get numbers such as this, add it there.. they only get silence and you are not bothered. I too am on the do not call list, but, I guess it just doesn't work.. That list is a scam. (imo)

First I got a call this morning from 414-431-5170 in which the person left a voice mail stating I was involved in a 2 party suite in Harris Countty and I have 72 hours to stop the court action excatly 2 hours (to the minute) I got this which I declined the Person did not leave a Voice mail

A few months ago I received numerous calls from today was from 212-201-1844 Manhattan, NY per according to my call history. I asked several times quite pleasantly to be taken off their call list to which at first it seemed my request was not getting through as I still received multiple calls. Then all of a sudden the calls stopped and I thought "Yes!". However this morning it started all up again first I received a call from +81 32010456 where the gentleman could not explain where exactly my number and then asked for my name. I became leery and advised several times I was not comfortable giving out any information - also that the gentleman had reached me at work so I did not have the time to devote to getting more information. Finally the male caller stated that a Supervisor would call and be sure to answer my phone - I thanked him for his time. Exactly 21 mins what I assume to be a Supervisor called me two times in a row - still at work I was uanble to answer. I have reported this call before to AT&T and now I will add the new contact information - hopefully something can be done :) Sincerely M

I get these calls every day sometimes 2x a day I want it to stop. I never answer but I don't like the phone ringing.

Keep calling me despite the fact that I'm on the Do Not Call list, and that I have personally told "Jason" or whatever the hell his name is to take me off of their list. I have also asked how they got my number. Instead of receiving an answer, he hangs up in a huff (like I'm the one calling and harassing him...). Then they call again 2 hours later.

When they call me, they don't tell me I've won a free system, but that there has been a bunch of home break-ins in my area (not sure how they know what "my" area is, because I live 1500 miles from Rhode Island, where the call comes from), but that if I simply give them my home address and some other info, they'll come to my house about installing a system. Oh is that all? I'm totally in the practice of giving my home address to strange men who call me on the phone. What a crock of bull.

They called twice, I denied the service twice...THEY CALLED ME AGAIN TODAY!  I'm calling my cell service provider and demand the number be blocked.  So far I've only received calls from 401-434-4585.  I hope NOT to hear from these folks again! I

This is such BS! First they called me to take a survey about my smoke dectector and then they called back and told me I won a security system. Then, like a week later they called back and said I won again. I said "This is a scam. Don't call me again!" He called back within 2 mins. This is a BS scam! Don't believe this!

I have igored these calls for weeks on a daily basis. Then the nmber started callimg my cell phone. That is when i got frustrated and answered to figure out who this was and why they were calling sso much. they told me i had been chosen to receive a free security system and blah, blah, blah.....I told them I wasn't inerested and we will see how long it takes before they call me back. I would like to know how they got my house number and then found out my cell number. this is rediculous!

These people called to tell me about the free instllation. I said i could not make that decision and would they please sent me all the information in an e-mail.  They did and said they would call agaian.  I am not interested and they keep calling.  Infact injust the last hour they have called three times.  I do not answer and do not know how to get the phone numbers to sop. I am on the no calling list, but that does not seem to mattet.  Very annoying.

This VMS company is a big SCAM. They claim they are not selling anything but as soon as they think you may be interested in the "alledged free" alarm system you won, they will sell you thousands of dollars of unneeded garbage. The alarm system is three times higher in price than any other alarm company. Someone from the US federal government needs to shut them down. I'm on the "national Do Not Call" list and they still called multiple times per day even after we said NO No No. Soon this turned into us saying "well you know that you're in a deadend job. I'm sure you thought about commiting suicide. Why don't you just do it and save the rest of the world. You know you're going no where in life. Don't you think the rest of society would be much better off if you were gone?" Hopefully, the salespeople will take the hint. If we were successful in just one person killing themselves, the world would be a better place for the rest of us. This number is 401-434-4585, also call from 503-457-1270. They want to put an advertisement sign in my yard in exchange for a free alarm security system install in my house!. I told them not interested. They keep calling  about 10 times/day, early morning, late afternoon, and weekend! Any any idea how to get rid of them?

I just started answering the phone, not saying a thing and putting the phone down. As I walk away I hear them call for a person by a different name each time and "are you there?". Yup I am... pay for the long distance call to talk to my coffee table!

Added my number to the do not call registry again! 31 days after you register your number you can file a complaint. Cant wait till day 31!!!

Forgot to say that when you get their voice mail that is even better because you can leave a long dragged out message to it costs them more money. I also let them know that I am posting their toll free number and will be contacting each office to do the same.

Two calls within 2 hours today on our cell phone!. Crazy!

These jerks have been calling me for 8 days straight even after I answered the phone and told them to stop calling.  I don't answer the phone.

I have received a call from 401-434-4585 EVERY day for at least a month.  Sometimes they call twice a day.  I've never answered the phone as I have caller ID.  At this time, they are breaking the law in calling me...  They do NOT want to speak to me in person.

Company continues to call daily after I requested not to be solicited again.  They are selling some type of home security system.

Also being harassed by these people. Very pushy and persistent. Have also received calls from 253-246-8553 and 469-941-412. I don't think they called themselves VMS though...I think it was Protect America.

I got the very same call and spiel...however, I did take an interest and I was passed on to a security advisor. Then I suddenly wasn't having a live salesman come out and go over everything and do an assessment anymore but the smooth-talking salesman was arranging an actual INSTALLATION appointment for me for the very next day! I was passed to ANOTHER guy who went over the details and added some new twists about my agreeing to forgo the salesman visit because of saving money on their gas costs and that they had answered all my questions on the phone call.  I agreed to the installation. Then a woman called me back to confirm the appointment and had ALL the dates and times wrong and I got more concerned..she passed me to another guy who finalized everything. I hung up and felt really scared it was a scam and planned to call to cancel the following day.
However, I have since done some research and I've read worse reviews regarding Brinks & ADT and several of those companies also require a three year contract. I am glad these folks are NOT a complete scam company (maybe some questionable sales/marketing tactics) so I plan to do more research and I postponed the install until next week.

I have been getting calls every day for the past month from VMS. I have received over 30 calls even after I told them I am on the state and national do not call lists and asked to have my number removed from their system.
I filed a complaint with the FTC, and both do not call agencies. I found out that there has been at least one class action suit against them for their telemarketing practices.

I have had it, I am going to see an attorney next week to see how I can go about suing them.
