These people need to get a job, that is if they have a Green Card !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gotten several calls from this number and they do not leave a message.  Called back and the operator answered as "United Recovery Service". Have no idea who they are looking for, I have been out of debt for over 15 years, no outstanding debts.

This number called more than once and just sits on voicemail without saying a word other than hearing their background noise.  Do not answer calls from numbers you do not know unless you are expecting a call from an unknown number.  If expecting a call from someone ask from what number will they call so you will know and answer it.  I let people know all the time if I do not know the number they will call from they also will not get a response unless they state in voicemail who they are.  This company doesn't even do that, so if it continues, could it be considered harrassment/stalking due to saying nothing and it is rather freaky?  Hmmmmmmm makes you wonder.  The advice from above @Johnnie Boy
18 May 2011Get a copy of the Fair Debt Collection Act off the net to see your rights as to harrasing/letetrs calls from creditors.  You do have rights.  You have to assert them., is loaded with useful information you would not think you even had at your disposal.  

Also, use some of the links to find some suprisingly interesting facts to use against the callers from these types of numbers.  To this person, thank you, very much!

These people are creepy.

its a scam.. i called back i asked easy questions and the same lady that always picks up hung up on me cuz she wasnt smart enough.. i tricked her talking.. dont give out any info!

Male caller keeps calling. asking my name and last 4 SS#.  I won't give it so he hangs up. He won't tell me why he's calling till I give him mySS#.  Try never!

Caller is United Recovery Systems, a collection agency used by AMEX and others.

This is a fraud.  I do not want them calling me again.  They are dialing from a RI number from somewhere around the north end of Providence but claim to be calling from United Recovery Systems.

I called the number back and they said "United Recovery".  No idea why they call sometimes several times a day.

Called me asking for my daughter, who has moved out over 8yrs ago She said she had my number as a contact number! That is a BS line. Warning : hang up

Number is owned by Level 3 Communications corporation, and is leased out as a mask cell phone umber for colelction agencies.

Harrasing calls. Called me 9 times on Saturday morning, from 8am to 12pm. Not sure what they are, probably is a forwarding number from a Collection Agency. Will automatically hang up if you call them back from a number other than on their calling list.
