prank call.

Who did they say it was? I was wondering if it was a prank call.

Received call from here saying to go to Western Union and send wire for $3900 (they would tell me who to wire it to when I was at Western Union) to pay fine for illegal shipment confsciated at Domicican Republic. Had to been sent in new two hours.  Would not tell me who to wire the money to until I was actually Western Union.

got same call today and told him where to go. also few weeks ago got the same threatening call from a bogus FDA so-called agent who told me his name was Michael Moore. He wanted me to send money via Western union to an individual in new york who was the"bailiff" at the federal courthouse. Can u imagine an officer of the court just trying to help out a stranger?? Check FDA website, tells all about the scam. Also talked to real DEA agent and reported him. The agent told me they would never call and demand money over the phone. Please, everyone  don't be intimidated. Do Not Send Money!! Call DEA and report the phone numbers they are calling from. The real agent told me this would be a great help>

I got the same call. When I asked why he was calling, he said it was his job. Did not ask for money. I called my attorney and said, from what I told him about the conversation, it was a scam. If so, then why didn't he ask for money?

Got same call.  Called attorney and local DEA.  This is a scam to send money.  DO NOT RESPOND TO IT.
