Glad you did your research for the telephone number 508-299-7403.  DREAMGO EXPLORE, listed in ORLANDO,FL are doing several calls from different telephone numbers. Who will give away any of those gifts without you being a MEMBER of it.  Who gives away $25,000 in cash if you did not play the LOTTERY?  Maybe 3days, 2 nights in ORLANDO, but not Las Vegas or Cancun Mexico inclusing round trp airfare for 23 adults FREE???

Do not be FOOL by this from DREAMGO EXPLORE, just continue to read the COMMENTS on DREAMGO EXPLORE and see what a SCAM THEY ARE.  You will not get any of these FREE without being PRESSURE TO BUY A VACATION PACKAGE>

I received a call from Premier Marketing. The message said it was the final call. I don't know what the incoming call number was, but the number left to return the call was 1-855-209-7091. I left a message and they called me back, from 1-866-922-8049. I couldn't find any info on the 866 number, but I came across this site, and I am certain it is the same people.

Was told I filled out a survey or something 12-18 months ago (which could totally be true), and my name had been drawn to win one of the four top prizes: a new car, a large trip with multiple locations to choose from, a trip to Hawaii or a 14" Toshiba laptop. I asked who the contest was through and she just gave me the Premier marketing name. The woman who called did not sound foreign; accent was more Southern. Went through a whole spiel about it not being a time share and they are not trying to sell any services. She said they would briefly give some company background (supposedly a new travel agency opening). Had to go to the Holiday Inn in Georgetown, DC. Each couple (12 total) would be given a scratch-off and was guranteed to win one of the four prizes. Did ask me to confirm that I met the criteria and asked for the spelling of my last name. Gave me a confirmation code and emailed me a confirmation letter. That is where I found out about the 90 minute presentation I would have to sit through. Sure, I could win a laptop (not likely to get one of the big prizes after turning down their opportunities to buy a trip of a lifetime), but it isn't worth my time and effort.

I'm in Vegas. My wife was doing the dishes and the number was a long distance number, so she told me just to answer it.

I got the call a little after 6:00pm tonight. The guy who called was from India and was in a call center. He asked me if someone had already called me from Sony. I said no. He said that I entered a contest at one of either several places such as K-Mart, Wal-Mart, Sears, Sony Store, etc. (We don't enter contests or sign up for anything in the stores, but I just let him roll with it.) He told me to write down everything he said. I could either win a 32 inch LED TV, $2,500, a vacation (one of the options was to Las Vegas! Oh boy!) or a Ford Escape.

He told me to go to the address on West Sahara. Having lived most of my life in the Lakes, I knew the ZIP code was wrong, but I didn't correct him. He asked if my wife and I could make it tonight at 8:00pm, I said no, so he asked me if we could make it to one tomorrow night. I said yes. He told me to ask my wife, I told him it was fine. He asked me again 3 more times to check with my wife, and I kept telling him it was fine. Finally he said "You must be the boss of your house, huh?" In reality, I was just going to listen to the whole spiel and wait for him to start asking personal questions before I seriously considered going. I knew he was eventually going to start asking personal questions.

He asked me my name and I asked why. He said he needed it for confirmation. So I gave it to him. They he said he was going to transfer me to his manager to get the confirmation code. The line was quiet for about 10 seconds, then another guy came on and asked me to read back to him the date and time and address of my appointment. So I did. Then he asked me to double check that the time was okay with my wife. I told him it was.

Then he asked how old I was. I asked him why that mattered. He said I had to be over 25 to win the prize. I told him I was older than 25. Then he asked how old my wife was. I again asked him why it mattered, and he said she had to be above 25 as well. I asked him why my wife had to be older than 25 for me to win the contest, and he got angry and told him I had to tell him the age if I wanted to claim my prize. I told him that I wasn't giving out my or my wife's age over the phone, and he said "Alright then, you don't get a prize" and hung up.

Oh well. Easy come, easy go, I suppose. I'm not too heartbroken. But I was surprised at how quickly he gave up. I guess being over 25 is a requirement. My guess is that they are going to make you sit through a timeshare presentation and they don't want young people with no money to be there taking up a seat when they could have older people with money to try to sell to.

Ivd received the same call here in vegas. Same story: thick accent with american names, same manner of winning, and same prizes. Has anybody actually gone through with it? I know it's a scam but I'm curious as to what they are pitching since they are so determined.

Its a scam.  It is SUCH a scam that when I told him that he had the address wrong (they tell you its "8961 W. Sahara Avenue Suite 102, Las Vegas, Nevada 89177" when anyone who lives in Vegas knows that Canyon Gate area is the 89117 zipcode), they just kept repeating the wrong address.  So when you get a call from 703-349-0525 and they say "WRS Promotions", its a scam

They called me on my cell phone and told me that I needed to spell my name to them so that they could confirm it really is me from my (phantom) entry.  Of course they got a bogus name and then confirmed that the bogus name is PRECISELY whats on the application.  It was fun to play with them for a little bit but then I tired of the game.  Dear Mr. James or whatever fake name you were using from the Indian call center, I was using a fake name too so lets just call this even and both quit while we are ahead, OK?

Mikes been pestering me for about a week. He did the same non-stop talk when I told him I was at work. He keeps calling me back and telling me, rather rudely, that as per his previous conversations with me he's already explained the details of the qualifications. Then tells me I won one of the same four prizes and I have to come down to 8961 W. Sahara suite 102, Las Vegas 89177. He keeps telling me to bring my husband...I'm not married. He also keeps telling me to tell them I make over 55k a year (Which I don't - I'm a single mom and have more going out than coming in). Since his initial call I've gotten about 6 other calls for more "Promotions" places. He had mentioned Global, then subsequently Virgin in our conversations. He's claiming his company is WRS Promotions now.
When I got patched through to the Manager he started telling me to spell my name so they can match the spelling. I asked how they had it spelled and he took a long pause then gave me the time stalling "I'm sorry, what did you say?" Then he told me that the spelling of my name was locked in the computer and was used as the password to retrieve my gift code. Duh..oookkk LOL I'm sorry, rather than playing phone games I need to be picking up more hours for work and getting business done. Especially doing the job of two parents, my time is valuable.

I just got the exact same call from a guy with the thickest Indian accent I've ever heard on the phone!  He was barely understandable and had to spell out the name "V-i-r-g-i-n" for me to understand him.  I told him I was at work and he just kept going.  I interrupted him and told him I'm at work again and asked them to call me back.  Ha!

Losers!

This guy called me like 5 minutes ago. I usually have a hard time understanding indian people, but this time I was pretty s****aced, so it made it even harder. He seemed to say I won some Best Buy contest that I apparently in December. I do not recall doing that. He then asked for my age, and informed me that I could select 1 of 4 "fabulous prizes". I'm drunk, he's indian, I asked him to repeat himself a few times, he hung up on me....

Got a call yesterday August 25, 2011.  from this number  401 616 4924.  This time it was Premier Promotions and the name was Jimmy.   Same deal.  4 prizes, car money etc. but come along to  a hotel in Sterling VA to collect with significant other.  No mention of sales pitch even when I specifically asked if there was one.  So he lied to me which if he calls back I'll politely mention to him.  :).

I said I would get back to them, but after 20 mins of googling where I found everyone's notes here I'll not be going along. I must say thanks to everyone for posting and saving my time.

Shame these morons wasted my time and keep popping up.

Just got a call on my cell from508-299-7403. My husband answered my phone. In a heavy Indian accent, "Mark" said we had entered a contest around Christmas time.  Prizes were 32" TV.2500 cash & Cruise for 2. Hubby was told I needed to call back for Gift Claim Card # and we would have to go to 7550 Futures Drive in Orlando to claim our prize. Hubby is not computer savvy so I just googled this phone # and here I am.....What a bunch of baloney !!!

This dude called me from Virgin Promotions at 9:30PM!!!!!! 9:30!!!!!! saying that i had won one of 4 prizes and I asked how he got my number. He told me that I had visited a store (best buy, at&t. etc) and filled out a survey card. I told him it sounded shady and that it was illegal for telemarketers to call after 9 and if he didn't know my name that I wasn't doing anything and that shut him up. Win!

I go the same call today.  The guy kept asking if my significant other and I lived together. He even passed me to his manager who kept asking if I could prove that we lived together.  I said that we didn't live together and asked why that would matter to a contest.

He got pissy and said that it was only open to people who lived together and that I wasted his company's valuable time.  Did he forget that they called me?  DUH.

Got the same picth from Virgin Promotions with us winning a prize out of 4 things (Ford Hybrid Truck, 32" TV, Cash or Vacation). Have to come down to their DC office to collect the prize. The office is in Georgetown and will have to sit for 90 min presentation (Timeshare picth?). The URL posted by 'wash dc' is what was given to us. So when I started searching online, was directed to several forums (one of them was this); only one had a person go and sit through the presentation, decline the offer/sales pitch, scratch the lottery and win $2500 AmEx card which they used and have no complains. Anyone truly followed through with this promotion thing or is this just another scam?

Thanks and good luck

Just got a call from 508-299-7951 and got the same marketing pitch from someone from Virgin Promotions or Virgin Marketing - telling me I needed to go to the same Washington D.C. address someone posted before (901 31st St., NW, Washington, D.C.).  I was not planning on going, but got them to give me the web address of an html site with some of their info in writing:

Looks like it's a 90-minute presentation.  Ouch.  Thanks to everyone for posting...

The exact same calls have been coming in at my house, but I live outside Washington, DC so when I listened to the whole offer for the prizes: $2500 cash, 32"LCD TV, 3 day vacation or 2011 Ford Explorer I was instructed to come to 901 31st Street NW Washington, DC in the Washington Harbor Complex.  I was given an appointment to come listen to "Virgin Promotions" presentation for 90 minutes and enjoy their complimentary refreshments and receive one of the prizes free via a scratch off ticket.

Well, we all know that everyone will scratch off and receive the travel voucher--and after you pay the fees associated with redeeming the voucher you will end up with a 3 day trip as expensive as booking it yourself. So if you have time on your hands, why not go check it out and amuse yourself and your spouse for the evening...

I don't think this is a complete scam, as no one is stealing here but rather it's terrible marketing.

Some guy named Mike Walter tried this same thing on me. I actually believed him at first, then I googled his number and it brought me here. Here's a checklist from my experience:
1: He will say that you won the top 4 prizes from something
2: The prizes will be a 32 in. TV, $2500, or 2 cars
3: He will get annoyed if you make him repeat himself
4: He will tell you that you have to pick up the item from somewhere
5: He will ask if you are in a relationship
6: He has a thick accent

If any of these apply, it's "Mike" and it's a scam
And for the record, he said he was gonna call back in a half hour. If he does, I'm gonna rub it in his face really badly then block his number. Cheer me on everybody! :D

Just wanted to warn everyone to never reply in the affirmative when getting spam calls, even if it's just to get them off the line. I read an article that told of a telemarketing company that edited responses so it appeared that the people said yes when asked if they wanted to subscribe to an offer. The victim said they had only said yes when the caller asked "Is this Mrs. Jones?" The telemarketing company charged $5.00 a month on the phone bill and it was months before they could get it to stop.

Both my husband and I received calls today (7/10/11) on our cell phones from this number. He had an accent and claimed that we signed up on a list when we were doing Christmas shopping.  We never give our cell numbers when shopping.  He was obviously calling sequential numbers.  My husband just said he wasn't interested and hung up.  I told him several times to put our number on the "do not call" list.  He tried to keep going but I had to hang up on him.  Ugh!

Same details are posted by others here - guy named Mike from Discovery Promotions claiming we gave out our cell phone no. at a Best Buy in Mansfield, and then started his sales pitch. When he could not convince my wife to sign up for a tour, another guy took over; the conversation quickly deteriorated after that - he got really nasty when I asked him how he can call us legally when our numbers are registered in the national do not call registry.

Got a call from 508 229 7835 today on my cell phone. The guy said his name was Steve Johnson and he was from Discovery Promotions. He said I was a lucky prize winner based on a best buy contest entry we had made. One, I don't ever remember registering for any contest with best buy and two I would never give out my cell phone number to anyone that I don't know.

He asked me to show up at 800 S Main St in Mansfield to claim the prize and wanted me to confirm a time. I said I will think about it and ended the call.

Couple of hours later, my wife got the same call on her cell phone with the same story.

This is definitely a scam.

I am sure they are taking advantage of some gullible people out there.
