not sure who or why they are calling me

Calls daily -  similar time frame.
computer call - won't leave message..
I always check my caller ID before I pick up  any call.

I answered the phone only because the area code was the same as mine. A recording
came on and a woman with a British accent says " if this is (my name) , please press 1."
I did and another voice message asks that I hold and someone will be with me shortly.
After 10 seconds of music, I just hung up. I have an unlisted, unpublished phone number
and I am on the fedreal Do Not Call list.
If it's important, they'll call back....................and this time, I'll ignore them

I held on after pressing 2 and waited several minutes. When someone picked up and I told them there was no one by the name they were asking for they hung up on me! I kept calling back and getting put on hold and then when someone answers they hang up again! I kept calling until I got someone to talk to and explained  what happened she said yes mam I will have it removed and then SHE hung up on me.
I SAY DO NOT ANSWER THIS OR CALL BACK!
