Just received a call from this number.  Did not recognize it so did not answer.  No message was left identifying the caller.  Likely an auto-dialer configured to not leave the message on an answering machine.  No doubt a scam.

This # called me & it came up as Woonsocket, RI. I didn't answer since the # wasn't one I recognized, & they didn't leave a message, but this is the first time this # has called me. But I get Rx filled & refilled at CVS every month; some Rx I take in, some I order refills for online & some are automatic refills, but I have never had this # call me before. So I very much doubt it's CVS.

It is CVS Corporate calling in reference to certain RX refills; However, these ARE NOT hard to fill or uncommon prescriptions on 98% of them. They are usually the most expensive ones. Either way I Do Not appreciate getting calls several times a day, especially when not feeling well, from a # with no ID! I am calling CVS and letting them know how I feel and I hope everyone else does the same!

I do not want this number calling my house. This is not a legitmate CVS Pharmacy.

Got a call from this number just now. I kept silent for 5 seconds and it hang up. Most likely this is some machine-generated phone call that requires a sound to be triggered a feedback.

I get these phone calls, but it just reminds me to get off the money-making pharmaceuticals and get out and exercise and lose some weight. I'm down to 2 pills now after taking a high of 11 and I feel great. Talk with your doctor first.

I received a call from 401-762-7200 (Rhode Island).  The first word out of the lady's mouth after she verified my name was "This is CVS Pharmacy calling to discuss our services.  What is your date of birth?"  I told this lady that I did not give out personal information over the phone.  The lady hung up.  

If she only wanted to discuss services why would it be necessary to collect personal identification information and why would she immediately hang up.  If she truly wanted to discuss services that CVS offers, she would not have immediately hung up.  I believe this was a scam for identity theft.  If this was a CVS representative, CVS needs to train their representatives better!

Our family uses CVS and their refill program is great for our family. The only time we get a call from this 401 # is on a special medication that is not widely used and is so important to my husband's mother that lives with us. She has many health problems so we feel thankful for this reminder since it is expensive even with her medicare D drug insurance. The calls from the local number are so very helpful because we do not have make sure we call them on time every time a med needs refilling. This reminder works so well with two family members taking lots of meds due to health problems. We are thankful for the meds and for the professional and helpful manner that the local CVS and corporate handle our prescription needs.

It is Cvs headquarters. The called me and asked me if I wanted to enrolled in their automated rx refill program. Its legit. I didn't have to give them any personal info.

I called the number today and a woman answered.  I asked if the number was a company or private, she said a private cell phone.  I asked why she had called me and she said she hadn't which is not true because there were two calls on my recorder.  This is not CVS.

Woman called claiming to have information on one of the medications that my heart patient takes. When I told her that she needs to tell me the information she then started asking me for personal information about my heart patient. She asked if I have power of attorney. I told her that I was not going to tell here anything.
It is none of her business. When I answer the phone for my heart patient then she better tell me what she needs to say or not call me at all.

BEWARE:  They called me today and wanted to know my birthdate. I asked why they were calling and they told me that I had a prescription coming due next Tuesday and said they may no longer be carrying at my local pharmacy, when I asked about the medication name he refused to tell me unless I verified my date of birth.  When I refused to give him that info he was unpleasant.  I told him that I'll deal directly with my pharmacy on this matter.   He stated that unless I provided this information they could not guarantee that the prescription would be available because they no longer stock it there.   Well I hung up and called my pharmacy and they told me that I did NOT have another refill until a month from now and that they knew nothing of this CVS corporate headquarters service.   They told me that CVS would never call the house to ask for personal information, that all of that is handled through the local pharmacy.   BEWARE

How do you get the calls to discontinue?  They've called here 9 times in the last two days.  I don't answer, but don't want the phone to continually ringing and do NOT get my prescriptions from CVS.

Just got a call from this # & (now listen to this) a local pharmacy went out of business . I'll even tell you the name bauses in boyertown,pa ..  & they told me that my rx history was transferred to a cvs store & wanted all kinds of info :(. I hung up without giving them into . Anne the more I think about it the more PISSED off I'm getting :( I'll call the b*****ds back now & question them :) this might be a "hippa" violation :)

i have just recieved 23 calls in the past hour and a half. i called the number back and it says cvs and a brief message about calling me back and then hangs up. i called the corporate office because i thought it was fisshy that they called soooo many times especially when i have nothing ordered there. they say it is a legit number and don't know why they are calling so much. they advise i answer the phone next time and ask to have my number removed. so i will do that- let's see if it works. otherwise corporate will be hearing from me again ( or maybe i should call them 23 times in an hour and a half and see how they like it)

At this very moment I am getting my 11th call from this number--in the last two days.  No one spoke when I answered the first 2 calls, so now I do not answer the phone.  Here's #.12!!

This number has just called me 4 times in the past 15 minutes.  I don't answer because although the Caller ID shows CVS, it's not a local number.  I have 1 prescription through CVS, and it's on automatic refills so I don't understand this.  Also VERY frustrating that there is never a message left, they just hang up.

The caller, who was an Indian female, said I was eligible for a three-month refill of my medications through CVS.  She asked for my birthdate twice.  When I asked how much it would cost for this three-month refilling of my medications, she said she couldn't search for that without my birthdate.

Sounds like a scam.  Why would my birth date be the first thing CVS would ask for?  I'm going to report this to my local CVS pharmacist.

Received a call from someone that said they were from CVS

I suddenly started getting calls from this number and I can assure you that it is NOT from CVS pharmacy.  I also get prescription refill reminder calls from CVS and those calls come from my local CVS where I get my prescription filled.  They also always leave an automated message and they NEVER EVER ask me to confirm any of my info.  The people at the pharmacy ask me to confirm my address or DOB when I pick up my prescription, but not over the phone.  This is a scam.

I just got a call from this number. I gave him my date of birth refill. Is there anything wrong?

CVS pharmacy is making me crazy!  This number calls to remind me to refill my prescription.  This number and CVS pharmacy are not in sync with each.  They start calling me at least 10 days before my refill is even due.  Last night they called me 38 times within 1 hour, averaging 1 call every 2 minutes

"If you are calling to return a call that CVS initiated to you, we will try our call at a later time."

This is an automated message I hear when calling the number back. On my screen, the phone identified the call as coming from Woonsocket, RI. I am in New Orleans, so you can imagine my surprise. Not to mention I don't have any prescriptions on file at CVS, and they do not leave messages.

I am going to block the number.
