I keep getting called from 401-854-0035

I just got an incoming call 2 minutes ago, but I did not bother to answer it. I figured that I don't take calls from unknown phone numbers like that, especially from Rhode Island.

I get a call 4 times a day.

This number calls several times every day for months now, never leaves a message. The name David Cooper shows up, I don't recognize the name or number but I am sick of phone calls almost every hour..

This number calls 3 to 4 times a day caller ID shows David A Cooper. I don't know what type of company it is because  I don't answer. But I am ready for these calls to stop!!!!!!

Received a call from this number but they didn't leave a message.  Someone on this site mentioned that it was telemarketing and if I call back I would be given the choice opt out.  I called but didn't get that choice.  It just says "remain on the line for the next agent".  I don't know about you, but I'm not going to sit on hold for a call I didn't want and don't know who they are anyway.

Pretty sure this guy is not the Cooper who is a lawyer.  Different phone number.  Called the harassing number twice--once no connection and the second time got an angry woman who told me to "own up and say who I was" and then hung up before I could reply.  The harasser might be a guy who is running some sort of medical alert scam, telling seniors that someone has purchased a device for them and asking for information.  I cut him off twice and now I am getting this "Cooper Call" twice or three times a night.  This has been going on for about a month.  If I answer, there is a pause, then a hang-up.  Mostly simply cut the call, but it is a real nuisance.  Will call BB Bureau and see if they either know about the guy or can identify him.  If the calls continue, I may search public records and also try to find some authority who can go after this guy.  Slightly disturbing, at this point.

The caller using my name is not calling from the law office of David A. Cooper.Its a fraudulent company an not my law offices. We do not handle an credit card collection. If you google my name you will see that we handle criminal,divorces,auto accident ,etc an are too busy to be engaging in the fraudulent telephone scam.How my name comes up on ID is news to me.

David a. Cooper does not handle any collection cases. I handle Criminal, personal injury and divorce actions.A out of state company has made calls claiming to be David A. Cooper and have been reported to the R.I. Bar association by me.Any calls from a person representing themselves as David Cooper on a collection matter are fraudulent and should be reported to the Attorney Generals Consumer Protection Division 401-274-4400. Hi All...I just received another call from this number and decided to call it back.  It's an automated females voice advising that I may be eligible to have all of my debt wiped clean by pressing 1.  To be removed from their calling list I pressed 2.  A recording of a males voice came on the line and said that I would be removed from their internal calling list.  Hopefully these calls will stop.  

It's telemarketing, just smarter.  Instead of a person getting upset when we hang up on them, they sent a computer to do their dirty work.

this number called us twice today; hung up after second ring.  i am glad i checked this site - sounds like it is best i don't answer anyway.  but what kind of telemarketer has any success NOT waiting for someone to answer or hanging up when someone does?  bizarre.

I also called the David Cooper law office at 401-273-1880.  The girl asked for my phone number which I would not give to her.  I explained that my phone number is on the do not call list and as an attorney Mr. Cooper should be aware of the law and be in compliance with it.  I suggest that everyone who gets calls from this number call this office.  I feel sorry for his staff that need to answer these calls but hey give him a taste of his own medicine.  Maybe after bombarding his office with calls Mr. Cooper will get the message that he's breaking the law and in the process pissing alot of people off.

Called this number back just now and it is a firm looking to do somethink with your credit card debits if over 5,000 dollars. I presseed option 2 to have my number removed up to 5 business days.

Got a call from 401-854-0026. Caller ID shows David A. Cooper. I called back blocking my number and pressed option1 to speak to a so called adviser. He had an Indian or Pakistani accent and said "Credit Card Services" and if I send in only $15.00 he could get rid of ALL my credit card debt if the amount was over $5,000.00. It was fun.

Its a credit card solidation company. Just your average telemarketing call and nothing to
worry about.

Same as most are reporting; did a reverse look up & a business in RI came up but seems odd since I live  on the West coast; one came up as a transmission service & another had this number listed for Fiber Communications. And it did come up as David A. Cooper! Busy guy if he's also an attorney. Rings once or twice then disconnects. Never leaves message.

I called the David A. Cooper at 401-273-1880 and was told this is answer service. I explained I keep getting calls from David Cooper 401-854-0026 and I was told again I am the answer service, I reminded him I am on the do not call list and expect David Cooper to obey the law.

We have received several calls on our caller ID.  The number originates from Kent, WA.

I got calls from them a few days in a row - it would ring once or twice and I could never answer in time before they hung up.

When I called back I got an automated message talking about how credit card companies can be liable for their lending practices. If I owed more than $5000 on a credit card I could press 1 to speak to an advisor and get a free credit check. I do not have any credit debt, but wouldn't trust to speak to them if I did... there's no legitimate way they could have gotten my contact information.

Called my cell phone last night around 6:30PM EST and again today at 3:15PM EST. I did not answer either time. There was no message left after the calls.

Awaken in the night ring twice or just til I answer and then hangs up the last 3 days.  I do not want any more.
