These people are HORRIBLE!  Call at least 5 times a day until they get somebody on the phone.  I finally got to talk to them today.  I played along and kept them on the phone for almost 45 minutes.  I just kept asking dead end questions and wasting their time.  I would make them repeat themselves, and then I would keep changing my story just when they though they were getting somewhere.  They finally ended the call themselves after I wasted a better part of an hour of their time.  They said they'll call back tomorrow so we'll see.  If they do I'm going to do the same thing again.  If you waste enough of their time and lead them on long enough they will stop calling.  Time is money to these jerks so I aim to waste as much of it as possible whenever they call.  If I can fire off a few insults and give them a headache that's a bonus.  Waste their time with a dead end conversation - that's the best way to get back at them.  Do that a few times and they'll put you on their do not call list without you even asking.

The number called me and I got no one on other end. I just kept hitting the pound sign. I also have a block this caller feature on my phone. The iPhone 5s had that. Judt hit the little i go down and block. Most cell phone companies have that as well. Verizon does juat go to your account and add number to block list, granted you have to do it every few months. They called me twice today.

I am on the DO NOT CALL list - these calls are from a telemarketer.  I have received numerous calls from this number on my cellphone!!!!!!!  MAKE IT STOP!!!!!

They called at 4:59pm today. I could have sworn I had put the ringer on 3 hrs silence so I wouldn't have to deal with them calling!. ( Yet...3 hours and 1 minute later...the phone rang...OOOOOOOOOOOOO! How did they know when it would start ringing again?  CREEPY!)  Like the other poster stated they leave no message.
Anyhow, I renewed my number on the "do not call list" a few days ago, I guess it hasn't kicked in yet, according to the site it takes 30 days to take effect...a LLLOOONNNGGG 30 days!!!)  
I you haven't registered your number I suggest you do. It'll quiet down the telemarketers, but... you might still get calls for donations!

**Just know if you do it online you can only register 3 or 4 numbers and then you need to follow the steps by going to your email and following those steps.

A problem I have with the site is, I used to register my parents' and grandparents' numbers for them, but recently they all died, (Mom 5 years go, Dad and Grandma last year, and Grandpa this year.)  I tried to register new numbers but I couldn't find any way to delete their numbers and it wouldn't let me add new ones. When I tried just putting new ones on I got an email stated I had exceeded my limit of phone #.
Instead they gave me this toll-free number to call.   (888) 382-1222
It's much easier and you can register as many phones as you wish.
(IMPORTANT!  Make sure you're calling from the number you wish register!)

Caller ID shows Cell Phone NE and a number calling from as 402-205-3177 and if this is about college like you say, where are they getting the name and phone number as I am not in the phone book, and I graduated 40 soon to be 41 years ago and have no children.  But I just do not answer any unknown calls.  that way can't be scammed.  And I have a landline phone that I can press the do not disturb button so can't even hear the phone ring but it flashes yellow so can see if a call I don't want to miss.  But my phone is set to the answering machine picks up after 6 rings and they only let the phone ring 4 times and hang up so that alone will tell you that it is a telemarketing type phone call.  That is all a telemarketer is allowed to let the phone ring and they are not allowed to listen to answering machine messages nor leave a message.  Maybe that will help everyone discern between a telemarketing call and a different phone call.

The pattern I have found with the numerous unwanted scam calls, this number included, is my ordering online from Walmart.  Notified Walmart done with them.  Guess ignoring the calls is all that can be done reading what others are attempting.  

Please do not call any more!  I am on the no call registry - this is harassment.

this place has called me more then 20 times in the last sevreal weeks, asking for a person that is not at this address and trying to push college... I am well beyond the age and desire of college, as I retired 10 years ago. These people DO NOT take NO for an answer, I guess the bad economy has brought out the most aggressive "saleman" and they are really desperate for a sale.
