A call-back from Charter Communications after I called to check on a service outage in my area the night before. The problem I have with the call that I made: I spent 30+ minutes on the phone with a very patient tech rep, running through all kinds of troubleshooting on MY end, checking and re-checking, booting and re-booting, both my cable modem AND wireless router -- because according to HIS records, the so-called service outage was "only showing it was with television reception" and didn't indicate it was effecting INTERNET access -- when in fact it CLEARLY was affecting BOTH.
If I had gotten the guy's name, I would be sending him a nice token of my appreciation for having to work for such clueless asshats.
