I got a couple of calls from this number but they were rejected by Nomorobo.com. Did some research and found out through a lawyer it really is Chase Bank and they were looking for the person that had this number before I got it. They did not ask for any information from me. I had received calls for this person before and checked them out on whitepages.com. Got the address, my phone number, and her previous couple of addresses, her maiden name and found out she was originally from California. All for free. This is an Army town. Her last couple of addresses were near big Army bases and I surmised she had been transferred somewhere else (or her husband was) leaving bills and debts behind. They said I would not receive any more calls from them. We'll see.

This number keeps calling us. They want info from us posing as our credit card company. Do not tell them anything. Block the call. We called our credit card comp and they told us it is a scam and to say nothing to them.

The FBI does have a website, but I'd report the harassment to the Attorney General in my state first. Or try the new federal Consumer Credit Protection Commission ( I think that's the name?)
I'm getting these calls too, and my credit card is not even 30 days past due on a payment.
Nikki 2013-03-10 00:26:27 Unknown
You guys are giving me mixed answers, is it chase? Or is this a scam? And you ppl saying its a scam, how the hell do you contact the FBI lol

Chase Card Service was calling. They have been harassing me by phone, mail and unreadable e-mails since December. I have the misfortune of being a client of Chase Bank. I have filed various complaints with governmental and legal agencies, and with Chase Bank as well. What the Chase Card Service do IS ILLEGAL. It is vital for victims to defend themselves by reporting. .

I get several calls a day, all times of day and night, from 402-220-4351. Omaha, NE shows up in the caller ID, no message.
If you call back, the anonymous automated system asks for the phone number I'm calling from.
I find this harassing. Leave a message and I'll call back. I don't blindly enter my phone number into automated systems.
Gemma 2012-07-04 00:36:38 Unknown
I didn't answer because it just says Omaha NE so to me that is an unknown number and I don't answer those and there was no message.
But if it is Chase as someone said, I did realize I was late with my payment so I paid it. I would answer a call if the caller id said Chase because I'm usually on time with my bill payments but I don't mind a friendly reminder if I forget.
Jamal 2012-06-10 11:33:37 Unknown
You're an idiot.
Jamal 2012-06-10 11:30:42 Unknown
Stop lying. You're not a customer. You're a bill collector. Chicken. I'm not a deadbeat. And if you want to use names - they are scum. Who profits off the pain of others? Leeches on 2 legs.

I was ignoring this number for about a week until I finally got fed up with it calling me. I answered it and listened to an automated message from Chase Bank (also annoying). I was soon reminded why I hate Chase Bank. There was a costly snafu on my credit card caused by the automatic bill pay so I called them to get it corrected. This number was a very rare LEGIT call for me. I can't wait to pay off Chase Bank and never deal with them again. They are TERRIBLE.

Just activated my tracfone and got 4 calls from this #, have not dial anybody or given my # to anyone yet
kidgut 2012-05-08 23:24:49 Unknown
Chase. If you answer you hear a recorded message asking if you are so-n-so. Then it gives you a menu to select. They are calling about your credit card, but has nothing to do with late payments. Because I dod not even have a balance. So they are trying to offer something. Ignore the call. They tried for 5 days, then gave up.

STOP CALLING MY NUMBER! FOUR TIMES THIS WEEKEND! YOU SHOULD BE ARRESTED!
M 2012-04-09 19:07:28 Unknown
OMG that just made my day! I'm going to say that every time I look at my phone now and it's them calling...lol

This is a phishing call. They will tell you your Chase account is 21 days past due, your balance is ------ and includes a late payment of $25.00, and if you don't pay it immediately you will be charged another late fee. Then they will ask if you want to pay via telephone or internet service. If you ask to pay via telephone, they ask for your bank routing number and checking account.
Beware! they are probably not interested in the credit card, they're looking for your checking info and can take over your account if you give them the information.

I get calls at 8:26 am it only rings once - so i cant answer- its really bad.

This is NOT a Chase number; if you think it is, you might be tempted to pay bills through it. Chase does not recognize it as one of theirs, and couldn't even find the number among those listed at the better business bureau. Don't answer, don't call back, and by all means, DON'T pay this number money! You will not see that money again, and it won't change your card balance.
