I keep getting these calls, I NEVER answer any calls that I don't recognize the number. I have a Chase CC but it has a zero balance and has had nothing on it for years. They don't seem to understand that I am NOT going to answer their calls, they call sometimes 3 times a day~

I got a call that said they were from Marriott Visa for my son who is a college student and has never even stayed at a Marriott, let alone got a visa.  It asked to press a number to identify myself as my son, wrong number or if my son was unavailable.  I just hung up.  Caller ID said it was Chase USA

8137190591 used to belong to someone else but that person no longer on that phone number it belongs to my 7 year old daughter and I really do appreciate it Chase Bank to stop , their automated service calling. My daughter every single day thank you, upset parents.

Pretty sure it's a scam. Just got a call from this number saying they were Chase card services asking me to confirm my name. Then the line cut out. I don't have any accounts with Chase. Seems like they were phishing me.

Harassing caller. Three or four times today at 7 am and now at 7 pm. I am on a do not call list. I am reporting this number to the gov website

It's legit. Chase VISA reminder that I was overdue paying my balance and several times the recording offered me the chance to make a FREE online payment.  I didn't but it was perfectly fair that they reminded me.  Wasn't a scam for me, but I wasn't referred to any other phone number.   good luck.

o.k. that's it...I am reporting these buffoons to my colleagues at the FBI.  Apparently they don't believe they have to comply with any laws.

Recieved this call this morning. All that was on my voice mail was the tail end of my name in an automated voice, then a hangup.

If it is Chase, I'll pay it properly via online methods, and not over the phone.

I've received an estimate of 5 calls in the last week from this number to my vonage number. All going to voicemail because I'm in the process of closing down the Vonage account. As for the voicemails, well there is no message left each time. I have received calls/message from chase before and they actually call me by name when they leave a message. The key is they actually leave a message.
Though by the end of the month when my Vonage is completely cancelled, I shouldn't hear from this number for quite sometime until my Google Voice number gets around.

I can't say for sure it is a scam but as the saying goes, if it feels like a scam, sounds like a scam, it is very likely... a scam.

Be cautious and aware. Check your account. Chase, like most large institutions, have security measures implemented for paying debts over the phone.

Received a call from this number and didn't pick up because I didn't recognize the area code. They left a voicemail. I listened to the message and found out it was from my grandma who lives in Southern California. The area code is definitely a Nebraska area code, and she definitely is not doing any traveling to Nebraska right now.... No idea how or why her call would have been routed through Nebraska or why it would have shown up as a 402 area code....

Just got two calls from this number. The first time they left a message and it was nothing but silence. Second time I accidentally hung up on them. Hehe whoops. Thanks for posting all the info on this number everyone! I'm glad I know what's going on this this strange number.

I received a call from this number and answered. They said my Chase Bank World Mastercard was 27 days late. I owed $2.28. But also said my last payment of $45.04 was received on April 17th. I do not have a Chase Bank World Mastercard first off, and second, dont you think I would remember making a payment...today?

Have gotten a couple lately, but if I do not recognize the number -- especially the area code -- I NEVER answer anymore. In fact, I generally have the cellphone (the number they got) on mute because of the increasing number of calls like this. Doesn't the FCC monitor these complaints?

Part of a fraud campaign targeting numerous financial institutions.  Note the pattern of shill postings all claiming the number is real - an obvious giveaway.

Received 2 calls today on my cell.  Only family has my cell number.  No other calls are answered.  Voice mail was blank.  I have no Chase Bank or Chase Amazon credit cards. I do not even do business with Chase Bank.  I doubt the posters that say the call is legit.  White Pages info:

Looks like I'm among those getting calls on 3-20-12. I won't answer it, and although I have a Chase account with no outstanding balance, I'm skeptical that it's legit. You should be, too.

Pay by Phone, sounds like a scam, I already canceled my account a while back, if they wanted me to pay something, they should send a statement.

Called at 8:09 am.  Missed the call, didn't leave a message.

I got a call from this number and it actually was a legitimate call from Chase. I got one call and ignored it, Googled the number, and read this forum. Then I got another call a couple hours later and picked up in hopes of convincing them not to keep calling me. It was a recording that identified itself as being from Chase Amazon Visa, a card that I hold but rarely use, and asked for the primary cardholder by name. When I indicated that the primary cardholder was on the line, I got a recorded message about my account being past due. I listened to the message and hung up without being asked for any personal information or payment, though it did give me the option to pay by phone (which I of course declined). I then logged into my account online and discovered that there was a past due balance in exactly the amount the recording had stated. I guess my husband charged something to the card and I didn't realize it. The call was definitely legitimate in my case.

I've been getting calls from this # too, they never leave a message.  Eventually I just blocked them through my cell phone company.

But I can tell you I really doubt this is Chase bank.  I have a Chase account, I use it all the time, and I live in NY.  Why would Chase be calling me from Nebraska?  Also, I have gotten calls from Chase and they always leave a message and are very clear about their purpose.  Best guess is these turds are after your $ in your Chase account.  Block 'em.  Or better yet call the police.

I find it weird that "scam" is not an option in the "call type" box when filling out this form.
