Gallup (as in Gallup polls) has their offices in Omaha.  They may have made the call.

I'm in Omaha and got a call from this number. Any one in Omaha familiar?

I've had a new cell phone for about three weeks.  This number called on a Saturday afternoon.  No message, no caller ID information.

Received a call from this number on my cell phone. As soon as I said hello, a guy started rattling off Spanish very quickly. About all I caught was something about Mexico.

Yea i got a call from this number and i just opend my phone to answer it. I didnt even say hello or anything. all i heard was a male voice speaking in spanish and possibly some backround noise. I was half asleep when i answered and it was really annoying. I didnt bother to call it back.

just got a call from this number on my cell. i didn?t pick up as it was 800am in the morning here and it woke me up.

I got a call from this # too on my cell. Did not answer and they left no message.  Call recvd. at 3:26 pm.

I got a call today at 9 :58. i called back and got a busy signal.

I got a call from 402-298-5139. I just called back and I keep getting a busy signal like the rest of you guys. I signed up for the "No Call" thingy. Must not work.

I'm also in the Northern Virginia area, and I got this number at 2:42pm. I didn't reach my phone in time to answer it, but it looks similar to other spanish-speaking automated calls I've received.

Some precorded wetback said that he is doing a poll on how big your mexican girlforend has gotten since you first met her.

It is a scientific poll being conducted on why mexican women get so big once in a relationship.

I told him that the only BMW in my driveway is a car.

I got the same message and missed phone call.

I'm also in the NOVA area.  Could this be a DC/MD/Nova thing?

I just got a call from this number. I called it back and I got a message saying "We are unable to complete your call at this time"???

I have the same problem with pre-recoded gibberish.  Maybe if more people complain, these people will be dealt with.

Just received this call; put it on "ignore" and it gave up a ring later without leaving a message.

I answered the call after ringing twice and heard a busy signal. (Hmmmmmmmmm..... wierd aint it).

Got this call about at 11:06, I was on another call so didn't answer. This seems like a hot number, you would thing the provider company would be interested in what this person or organization is up to. It doesn't seem like a legitimate operation IMHO.

Me too.  At 11:13am on August 27th. got call no message left.  Tried calling number from land line and just got a busy signal.

I didn't answer and no message left.  When I called the number from a different phone got a busy signal.
