Same phone number calls me, about 3 times a day.  No one is ever on the other end.

Cox Communcations about a bill.

Calls me a few times a day as well. Called them back and some lady named Eva, answered. I told them my name and that I was working when they called and she apologized, but then wouldn't say who she was with.

some lady eva adams left a message but I never called back.

If it is cox communications, they need to give a name and company name when answering the phone when you call them back.

Yes it is Cox Communcations its a automatic dialer that informs you to call there office

This is Cox Communications---They are calling on a past due balance for either Cable, Phone or Internet Service.

Calls about three times a day.  I usually miss it.  I picked it up once and no one was there.  Pretty awesome.

No any collections or telemarketing can call starting at 8 AM to 9 PM.  If they call before 8 AM or after 9 PM then it is.

woke me up from a sound sleep at 8 AM  Isn't this illegal?

I called the number back and stayed on the line for over 10 mins, they did not anwser. This is either the worst collection agency ever or a load of s***!

They are still at it.  I think these calls are coming from a company that Cox has subcontracted out that makes sales calls and past due reminder calls.

01:11pm 08/08/09 Recv a call from COX Communications. I am so sick of there s*** they are overcharging me like I told they a** " Yall will never be BROKE"!! LOL

I recieved two calls from this number one on Saturday and one today.  The Lady left a message saying that she was from cox communications adn to call because it was important.  Received a call from them today no message and no one on the line when I answered

Got a call and no one was on the line.  I always Google any calls like this and found this page.  I got sick of Cox's BS a few weeks ago and cancelled all their services.  Now have Qwest and Dish Network.  Just received final bill yesterday.  I've heard Cox can be really nasty after you cancel them.

called twice today and once yesterday.. read other posts and Im not late on my COX payment so I dont know why they would be calling.

this is the number for cox communications collections.  When they call as said above, they are giving a courtesy call to let you know you need to pay shortly or you'll be shut off.  The reason it comes up as "The Cable Company" is because there using an automatic dialer.  Nobody will answer on the other end if you don't answer in 2 rings because at that point the dialer calls the cox rep back to say nobody is answering.

Ive gotten 3 calls in 40 minutes. I didnt answer since I have no minutes on my phone. I figured it was a business, and know google can bring up phone numbers. I ran across this page. Now my curiousity gots me of who this could be and why they are calling..

Called Twice within an hour, no one on the line. I waited until the call was terminated from the other end.
