Please, please, please report this company on the FTC.GOV website if you are on the Do Not Call list. I report the jerks every single time they call, but if we're not all reporting them each time, their "file" won't be large enough to be actionable. We need to work together to get this company a fine. Maybe then they'll stop their harassment. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has told them multiple times a year for at least five years now to stop calling.

Hey North Country, if you're reading this, any time anyone talks about window replacement, I mention you not following Federal law and abiding by the Do Not Call list. They're never impressed with you.

I receive 2-3 calls a week from this company and requested that they remove me from the call list.. very agravating they keep calling.. My home phone is on the do not call list..

These guys keep calling me and I am on the national " do not call list."   Is there anything that can be done?

They call and call and call.  There's never anyone on the other end.  I call THEM, leave a message to never call me again, and yet they keep calling!!  I auto-reject their calls now but it continues on and on and on.....

They have called so many times at night, it's sickening.  Why do they continue bothering people to this point??
We called back and asked them to take us off their list.
We will end up reporting them again, and God help us!

I never answer my phone anymore, that's the answering machines job, they hung up before the machine picked up. I don't own a home, however my wife did buy windows for her mom on a credit card from a well known home improvement store. Perhaps they are selling phone numbers from a list of previous window shoppers.

I got a call from this number while my hands were full of bread dough. It's nice to know it wasn't important.

Here it is almost 2014 and I see the posts in here date back to 2010 and North Country are STILL calling, STILL disrupting our lives! They call me about 5 times a week and I do answer so I can bi*** them out and have them take my number off their list BUT they hang up on ME as soon as I say hello... Scumbags!

North Country Windows called around dinner time, of course.  They had called about 9 months ago and I told them then that they were in violation of the Do Not Call List.  I reported them then and have reported them again tonight.  

north country will not stop calling my number even after reporting them to the do not call list. I finally got a live person and swore at them. She said that I never left my number, hah! I am a professional driver. Would they like it if I crashed my school bus with their kids on board because I fell asleep at the wheel.
 It was amazing that all they wanted to do was have me call back and talk to john when he got back to the office. Then I started swearing and informed them that I am starting a lawsuit for disturbing my rest time. After throwing the F bomb around a few time she did take a message and told me to calm down.

I actually have bed bugs I could send to them!!

Told them before, they can come on out, but I live in an apartment complex, so it's not up to me to have new windows installed!!!!

What I like to do when I get calls from someone trying to sell me something is tell them I'm unemployed.  Then I ask them just how am I supposed to pay for them.  I tell them Obama hasn't given me any of the free s**t that 47% of this great country is getting so I can't afford to buy anything.  I will also ask the caller if they would pay for them for me since they have a job and I don't.  This follows Obama's redistribution of wealth policy.  They usually hang up on me.  Love it!!!

Called and asked why I am on National Do Not Call Registry and yet they call me. Put through to "John". He states they buy their phone lists every 30 days. The seller is allowed up to a 3% error margin of numbers, so of 400,000 numbers they can rightfully give him my number. However, he was very kind and manually removed my number so I will SUPPOSEDLY not be getting more calls.

I've heard of people doing this, and then giving the address of the local police station.  Probably not a good idea in reality, but it sure sounds funny in theory!

Since they are wasting our time, anybody think to waste their time.  Next time they call, set up an appointment and don't answer the door when they come.  Or just stand inside and point and laugh.

They have been calling me for years. I own my own siding and window company and yet they always call. Here is his personal phone # if you want to call him back and ask him why they keep calling you.

I to am on the DON'T CALL LIST and I keep getting these calls.  Today at 11:am, when I answered there was a click-click and then a dial tone.  Perhaps since these people do not remove our numbers when asked to do so (legitimate telemarketers will do so) someone should go after the telephone companies who issue them their numbers since they are making money from these illegal calls.  I live in a four story apartment building.  What in the hell do I need windows for.  Furthermore because of these idiots, I do not buy, donate or give, or deal in any kind of call that would take my money.

I am on the do not call list and get at least 1 call everyday from this number.  I have asked them to quit calling  to no avail.  I have never bought anything from them so I should not be considered a customer.  Please give them a warning or something so they will quit calling

I got a call at home and then at work from this number; caller ID says "North Country". When I picked up at work, they hung up (seemed like a robo-call). Argh!

I just received my first call and went strait to google.

C'mon, you's guys. Have fun with it! Use your imagination.

Kill a bunch of their time asking questions acting like a real customer, then give them the address of an old abandoned barn out in the hills.

Or kick 'em right in the nutz with internal discord. Tell them you talked to the other person few weeks back and ordered windows but they never showed so you called Pella Windows and they're just now pulling out the drive after finishing the job.

A buddy of mine has a good idea for telemarketers. He immediately hands the phone to his 2 year old boy and lets him babble to his little hearts content.

How about this? Tell them you're on the other line and ask for their toll free number so you can call them right back in a few minutes. Put it into speed dial and every time you go to use the phone, hit that number first. Hang up as soon as they answer then make the call you planned on making. When they call back the line will be busy.

Been getting calls from this number on my cell for a while now.  At first, I thought it was someone trying to get ahold of me, to do some computer work (I run a computer repair service).  Eventually, I figured out that it can't be normal for them to call me so much.  After looking it up here, I finally called the business number and complained.  Supposedly they're going to "look into it", and he had "no idea" how my cell number could have ended up on their list.  We'll see if it stops.

I Suggest you remove "Your Number Here"  from your calling list we are not interested in buying any windows from you guys. If this message don't get anywhere I will hire an attorney. This company needs to STOP phone harassing random people by calling time after time. if you don't get an answer that should give you the hint they are not in interested in what you have to say or offer. Now stop calling and remove the number above.
