Caller ID showed this number, but didn't leave a message.

Call came through, when answered no one responded then the call disconected.  If this indeed from an organization for the Veteran's Administration asking for donations I have repeadly requested that they remove my number from their call list.  The fact they use diferent numbers tells me they are scamers.  I donate locally and I have two nephews in Afganistan now.  I have been burned several times before from organizations representing Verterans, Heart, Cancer etc.  I will NEVER donate money again via a phone call and I advise everyone else not to either.  Unfortuntiately, no one goes after these kinds of crooks so the legitimate organizations suffer.  Maybe they should push a little harder to get the scamers in jail where they belong.

This could not be a local number for out town.   We have a 308 area code.
