Simple solution - I go to my Voipo account and blacklist them. My phone stops ringing and they don't even have the option to leave voicemail. Perfect.

We got a call too.  It was a voicemail msg of a woman saying if u have any questions to call that number then a man is saying (live) may i speak to (my 1st name) twice.  So Strange.

I called HBC privacy and they said I was being removed from that call list whoever those people are so the calls will stop before hey really start for me...thank goodness

Did a Yahoo search on Adaptive Maketing LLC and turns out that they make privacy programs that monitor credit reports and identity theft.  Apparently they are thieving a little themselves.  No idea what they are selling.

I have someone calling me on a private phone and I don't know these people got my phone number but it is PISSING ME OFF.My phone has been ringing for 3 and a half weeks from this number and another 1-888 number.They aot getting the f***ing message when you tell them I'm not intrested.I'm sure they get calls themselves like every other person and don't like to be annoyed by someone calling about credit cards or survays or wanting you to change banks or what not.The next one who calls my phone I pick up and someone answers there in for one hell of a rude awaking.

They call my work phone a few times a day and it always shows up as Vertrue Inc (402-661-2888) checked the website and this is what it says:

I've received so many calls from these people that I don't even pick up but they keep on calling. Is there a way someone can stop those calls?

calling everyday multiple times, no one is ever on the other line. completely annoying. Does anyone know how to get them to stop?!

They've been calling almost every day to my phone number at work. I was out for 2 weeks and I had like 15 missed calls from that number in different dates.  I answered yesterday and told them I was not interested in their offers and hung up but today I have another missed call.

I have had 8 calls in 4 hours today.  They are driving me crazy.  Isn't there a harassment law out there to get them to stop?

I too have recieved calls from this number and I for one am sick of it. They call daily, as advanced marketing something. Do I care? F*ck no.

Adaptive Marketing LLC has two numbers...I believe 402-661-2888 is from a third party telemarketer that Adaptive Marketing has contracted with...To reach Adaptive Marketing LLC call them after hours, which is after 5pm eastern Monday-Friday. Press one to leave a message after listening to the first message. This will take you to their extension/voice mail numbers of their employees. What I do is this, type in just the numbers of the extensions i.e. 2155, 2154, and 2153. Someone always seems to be in the office, which I find rather strange, for a company only open from 8am to 5pm eastern. I either threaten them with more of my calls, or simply breath in the phone on their voice mails. After leaving one message say on extension 2155 I hang up. Call the 402-661-2000 number again, go through the same process, and then dial 2154 to leave a message on that extension and so on. What's odd is, the person there seems to have access to most of their extensions. They'll pick up the phone on the 2154 extension and hang up. It's drastic, but these people have 2096 complaints in the last 3 years with the better business bureau and are not a member. There's a surprise. Remember, dial 402-661-2000 after hours and leave nasty messages on their extensions beginning with 2155, 2154, and 2153...They have got to be stopped, but will, only if innocent people who want nothing to do with them take their own action

These people call at least 5 times per day. I finally answered the phone and told a man not to call this nuber again. His response was, "Okay...I'll call back later." Then he hung up on me!

I live in Canada as well and I googled this number and I got Nebraska... this person called long distance and left a message of an imitation of the noise the little dead girl made from the movie "The Ring" really and truely I have lost all faith in Americans.

Oh thanks for putting the number on here to call them. I called and the lady insisted on asking for my address.  I didn't give her my full address. I said the first 4 numbers of my address and let her TELL me the next ones.  Apparently now she had my old address and just wanted to trick me on getting my new address as they've been sending mailing offers on the old one. Tsk! Tsk! Just don't fall for it guys.

This phone no. has been calling my house everyday at 9 am for the past 2 weeks!  Can't even get a good sleep anymore...   >_<  I have HBC card also from Bay...   Perhaps I should cancel it since I never use it anyway...

This number has been calling my house 2 times a day, every day for about 6 months that I know of.  I have answered a few times and no one ever talks. Its hangs up on me after 90 seconds or me saying hello. I am in Canada, near Ottawa, and I also have an HBC card. Has anyone for sure figured out how to stop them? And is it really linkied to BHC since several victims here are not from Canada? A few people suggested things here, said they woudl come back to tell us if it works, but they never did, so it's difficult to know what did work or didnt.

they call my home phone sometimes,last time the lady said she is calling for hbc/zellers and talk the english which i don't understand what she talking about....so said sorry i don't want to know or whatever so she talk somethings then she hang up...not politely...so please beware of this number caller....she even know my full name...
