don't give any information to this relay unless you know for sure that the person is known to you and you known that they are deaf or hard of hearing...it is an information scam...I work for a bank and we get them all the time

Got a call from this number using interpreter.  Person was interested in item that we had advertised for sale in paper.  was going to send cashier's check.  Looked up this number and saw that it can be a scammer!  Thank you for doing.

got called after getting a food order for 200 people..its a total scam, dont fall for it!

This number has been used as a launching point for fraud and scams out of Lagos Nigeria . I just baited one out and traced them over email to Lagos Nigeria . For more information on Scams go to scamwarners dot com .

have gotten three calls now from this phone number, saying they are an operator, and I am to speak as though I am talking directly to the person calling, and the operator would type as I had spoken....when I start to ask questions about who this person is, where they are calling from, the response comes back, caller has hung up .....and the call ends....I feel it is a scam, as one time they wanted to make a charge card deposit of $2500.00 for pre-pay on a so called repair, and then we were to send them 1500.00 back by Western Union...  SCAM!!!! and the caller hung up....who is this,and can it be traced as to who it is?

I got a call from a Hillary Jones (deaf or hard of hearing) from a Kelvin Merchandise Parts Inc. suposedly in Chicago, IL asking for Cat & Toyota Forklift parts. She asked for my email address to email me a parts quote which she did. I had to ask multiple times for a physical address in order to quote shipping costs for this parts quote. I am affraid it is a scam, as we have been scammed through this system before. I can only hope & pray that people are not abusing this system for the handicap, but sadly there are lowlifes out there who do not care. I can only hope that I am wrong.

someone called me claiming to be from a hard of hearing help line and a girl called shantel was asking to speak to me but she wouldnt give me her last name or where she knew me frmo, only that she was from cali. i felt like this would be a scam cus she said "enough about me, lets talk more about you" so i have a feeling its some kinda scam to get some private info on people. i dont know. anyone have a similar call?

yeah i got a call at 12:30 in the morning and i didnt pick it uop but they called back and i listened to it and hung up and then they called back again and said my full name and dont hang up we do not have the wrong number.  and they said that the person on the other end said   i love you dont you love me.    i was getting pissed and if i get one more call from them im calling the police.

yeah i just got 2 calls from that number and im only 13... i didnt pick up because i had no clue who it was... it was at 12:34 and 12:26 at night... and they called me before but i just hung up the phone... but why would they call 3 times???

yea someone called me from the number and i had no clue wat the area code was friikkin nebraska i dont kno anyone from there so it was jus creepy

We are a small newspaper office and received 3 calls in a row from this number. Do NOT take them. They are a scam. First two calls were very fishy, called back the third time and immediately said the caller hung up. Being a small business, we get this a lot. Just be advised everyone!

Got a call from this number they said hard of hearing person or internet call was on the other end. Anyway they wanted info about my puppies for sale. Even gave me an email address to contact. Probably a scam.

I got two calls from this number today, and in them they were complementing me and then asking me why I had hung up the first time. When I told the woman who was the "relay person" that i wanted her to type who are you please leave me alone, she said that we didn't have to take these calls. Then after I had hung up, they called my friend and were saying things like "where is she? I know you are with her. you two look so cute together" and they person knew where my dorm was and that they wanted to meet me.. It was extremely creepy. I think that it is a legitimate service, I just think that creeps are abusing it! Watch out for these calls!

A girl called me a 10:30 PM telling me I had a caller trying to contact me and she was with a hard of hearing company that will ?type? to them so they understand and she will ask me the questions or w/e they want. I immidiatly hung up, sounds like a scam.

It's legitimate number (Hamilton relay service )that I use regularly(I'm deaf), relay operators are doing their job but it the people who are abusing the system.

It just came too me got a call at 3:30 PM & one just a couple of minutes ago,
at first I was about to pick up cuz i thought it might be my frien from california, then i googled the zip-code & it said Nebraska & i thought it might have been my other friend but then again i never gave her my cell # . Its creepy how freaks like that get your number. & im only 14 !

I got 2 phone calls today, EXACT same drone sounding woman, EXACT pitch, EXACT banging on the keyboard, DIFFERENT NUMBERS.... ONE was for 402-694-3656, the other was 1-866-747-7352. They were responding to my resume on Craig's List, I think they were trying to get me to do a work-at-home scam or some internet computer work scam... I posted my resume twice, got two calls... Someone is going through ALL of Craig's list and taking honest working folk's numbers and doing this! So IF you've been looking for a job for a while and posted a lot of resumes, they're gonna nail you repeatedly!

Just got a call from them "claiming" they needed body work on a Toyota Camry through our body shop.  Wanted to give a credit card # over phone of twenty five hundred, leave $500 with us as a deposit and send them back $2000.  Doesn't take a rocket scientist to know this is a scam.  These folks are really intelligently challenged

Yea, I think it's just a service that anybody can use and try to take advantage of. I guess people could use it for scams but I think one of my buddies is trying to mess with me. Called me at like 4 in the morning with the translator just talking random nonsense but they knew my name, my car, and details about my life. I wish I could figure out who forwarded the call. Now I have to go interrogate a bunch of my friends.

response to my ad in newspaper-female with poor command of English language gave me email address to send more info to regarding the item I was selling. Got long winded note back from email address that certainly sounded like a scam.

I got a call from this number wanting our restaurant to ship 100 lamb chops to them in 3 days. When I told them we could not do it, they said they extended their party so I had 5 more days. I also questioned their original; request of sending them to CA which was no FL. They said the location had changed. Grammar is horrible!!! Email addres is jlove005@yahoo.com

My husband got the same type of call about his puppies for sale but a different phone number and area code also left an email address to contact. Now i'm here researching about puppy scams.

i got a call from this number. the guy was from florida and the same thing about the guy being deaf. it is a scam. they sent me a fake us postal service money order.hope they find this piece of crap. hope none of you got taken. i got lucky and i did not.

Again - another puppy call stating that they would FEDEX the funds to my address and needed my email as well.  Had a feeling it was a scam and unfortunately the relay service is stuck as a middle man here.  

Also don't go the the stoprelay url above either.  It is a scam also.

she called me and wanted my info as well, she offered more money then i was asking for my pup. something wasnt right. Kelly Brown is what she is going by. brownkelly19@aol.com is the email she sent from.

Rec'd 3 calls in a row like this....just like everyone else during the day and one in the middle of the night. They did not leave a message.
