Caller ID said Nebraska. This is from someone trying to get you to donate to some sort of Women's Breast Cancer organization. They had been using an 800 number out of Wyoming, but obviously that scam was blown up and they had to move. They want to mail you an envelope and get you to donate at least $15. Lets hope the folks in Nebraska catch on and kick them to the curb also.

i am in FL and got a call yesterday at 7pm, hope they are NOT here to scam all the old people, they left no message and no came came up on id, i'll web search it and see....

Received this call at 7:23 PM on Aug. 30, 2010. Answered phone and there was no reply. Caller ID just identified the call as Nebraska. Tried calling the number and just got a silent line, no ring or any indication the call went through.

It's been calling me every morning for months. I finally called it back, got operator number 7 and had our number removed. It's a 'charity organization, but it seemed off, she was in a big hurry to get off the phone.

I just called them again, got operator 19 and he says the company name is Organizational Developement out of Lake Worth FL. They do fundraising for charities.

Received two calls in about an hour asking for two different people, neither of which lives here.  Then they hang up before I could request that our number be removed.  I called back and a very cordial operator apologized and said our number would be removed right away.  We will see if it happens but at least she explained that the callers did not follow protocol when they received a wrong number and was willing to remove us from the database. She said they represented numerous charities and were soliciting funds.

I am sick and tired of endless calls from this telephone number.  Do I have to change my number to get rid of them, or will it just start with someone else doing the same thing?

I am so sick of getting these phone calls!  I do not answer any of them, but they call three or four times a day!  This one is annoying; from Nebraska.  Sometimes I pick up the receiver, then quickly slam down the phone (in someone's ear, I hope!)

This caller does not respond when you answer the phone, just dead air, and they don't hang up, you have to.

Found this number on my phone's call list with the caller I'd of "out of area", however, area code 402 is out of Nebraska.  I wasn't home but they left no message.  My cable tv shows the number calling so when I don't recognize it, I don't bother answering and they never leave a message!

I received a call from 402-715-9244 asking for donation to the Fireman Pension Plan and I questioned why someone from Neb. would be calling to Florida for a donation to this plan.   I just wonder if this is part of the Prison calling plan, calling for all kinds of donations.   I am sick and tired of receiving these calls and wish I knew who to report it to.   I have put a block on these types of calls but it doesn't seem to do any good?

WHAT CAN YOU DO TO MAKE THESE PEOPLE STOP CALLING?

No message   many calls over the past few weeks. IF you finally do answer to get them to STOP.

Ive also asked many times to be taken off the calling list to no avail. Each time they say "we are contacting our list of previous donors first." I even told them to take me off of THAT list. Still, every day, still getting the calls.

I receive calls from this # quite frequently.  I sure am glad someone came up with caller ID.  Now if we could get the Spammers and Scamers caught in the act would make my day a lot less stressful.

I've been being harassed by this call for over a year.  This morning I filed a complaint with the FCC.

If they get enough complaints, maybe they'll close them up.  I've asked Nebraska to take me off their list 3 months ago, to no avail.

I have been getting calls from this number for almost a year now, several times a day.  ID says 'Nebraska'.  I thought if I never picked up, they would eventually take me off the list.  No such luck.  In January as answered and asked to speak to a supervisor.  Was told, I couldn't speak to one, so I asked the rude person I was speaking with to take me off their call list because I was being harassed.  She said it would take a month, but I would be taken off the list. LOL!  Three months later and I'm getting called daily.  Why can't our government and FCC do something about this?

I keep getting this call also Caller ID says Nebraska and also noone there when I try to tell them to stop harassing me..every day. Amazing that the authorities have not shut them down.

The calls are getting VERY VERY VERY OLD...usually there is no one there IF I answer, call SEVERAL times a week, if not every day.

Received a call this morning but couldn't answer the phone.  They called at 9:01 this morning and left no message.  Called them back and this woman told me that they call for several charities on their list.  I asked them which charity they called about and she waited a few seconds and then hung up on me.  Thought that was extremely odd and went to check out the number and found that the call came from Omahau, Nebraska.  Sounds like a big time scam to me.  After reading all these messages I can only assume one would have to be an idiot to give them or anyone else their address.  If it was a real organization they would already have your address on their list.  I can only say Never ever whether legit or not DO NOT GIVE OUT YOUR ADDRESS TO ANYONE CALLING.

This phone number has made several calls to my phone number and not body talks or no message is left

Have been receiving daily calls from this number for quite a while.  I have told them twice to stop calling so today I told them flat out to stop harassing us with these phone calls.  The female on the line told me I didn't have to be rude--that this number was a trunk line used by a lot of different charities to request donations.  I told her we were getting tired of daily calls when we have specifically told them to stop.  She indicated she would take our number off the call list.  I don't really believe that will happen, but we shall see.  I don't really see legitimate charities harassing potential donors like this.

Tired of the harassment two and three times a day.  I will not answer your calls, so take my name off your list.  If you don't, I'm reporting you to the phone company.
