Racist.  Just because someone doesn't speak English very well, is no reason to be nasty acting towards them.

I called them back. It's a charity. Call them and they say they will take you off their list. "It takes 30 days."

It's actually a center that solicits for two charities, one for kids and the other for breast cancer.  It typically takes 7 - 10 days to get your number off their list, although it can take up to 30 days.

The caller said it was the American Breast Cancer Society.  When I told her we would not be able to help, she responded, "Help with what?"  "Help with what?"

As though they did not want my money or my time.

It was most discourteous -- I would hope any legitimate charity would not give them their business.

Received a call from this number,11-5-2010,on my answering machine-nothing but heavy breathing! VERY CREEPY!

Received a call from this number today; the call went to our answering machine and they did not leave a message.

they want money when i am on the do not call list

Any ideas who calls from this number?

Got a call this evening 12/27/10 and waited for someone to come on the line, they did not so I called back and got a lady, seemingly the only person working at this time and she said if I gave her my number she would put it on the do not call list.  I said she had my number as she called it but it I got another call from her I knew how to do Robo-Calls too and I could keep their line tied-up for days. I know it is a scam and I told her that.  She said they were calling for charities but would not name them.  Scam, scam scam.  Going to report it to my State Attorney General as well as the Federal Do Not Call as so many people claim to be a charity but this one is calling for others which is not legal without telling who they are calling for.

These people call all the time.  I never answer, when will they get the hint? Why are anonymous people allowed to harass you just because you pay for a phone?   Caller ID says Nebraska.

Didn't pick up. On my phone's block list now.

I received a call from 402-715-9245 and the person calling could not even speak English.  I finally said I only talk to people who speak English and hung up.  I don't know anyone at that number so figured it was a scam of some sort.

Just received a call from this number.  I answered, but after I said, "hello," there was silence on the other end.  I stayed on line but remained silent myself.  I could hear ambient noise on the other end until, after thirty seconds, whoever it was hung up.  I found their number using star 69.

Didn't answer but they let it ring a lot.  Had turned off message machine.  Know I know no one in Nebraska.

This number calls at least every other day. I'm on the DNC list. It's frustrating.

I don't know about every state, but professional fundraisers for most non-profit groups groups have to register with the PA Dept. of State's Bureau of Charitable Organizations (http://web.dos.state.pa.us/cgi-bin/Charities/char_form.cgi). Needless to say there is no registration for this group. It looks like it's doing something wrong either way: it's a scam or they failed to register, as required by law. Also, ANY legitimate group is required by both state and federal law to tell you who they are and how to contact whatever charity they represent.

This group looks like bad news however you look at it.

Caller ID said "Nebraska".  Normally I wouldn't have answered but I was expecting a call so I did and heard nothing so I immediately hung up.

Calls here several times a day and they don't leave any messages.  The caller ID says Nebraska. If this continues I'll be filing a complaint with the FCC and the State Prosecutors Office like I have done before for against another telemarketer.

Female voice kept saying "Hello"  No further conversation.

Got a call from this number and when the voice message took it I heard a guy from under his breath say "Oh my god..." Then hung up. I then tried to call back but no answer.

Got a call today. I was still asleep.  Said they would send envelope for contribution of my choice and stated I could donate more than $15.00 if i choose to.    "Verifier" call back later to confirm my "pledge".  I asked what pledge she was talking about. She replied: "OH, YOU DIDN'T PLEDGE $15.00"?  I said that I had not pledged anything.  She apologized.

Sounds like, smells like, feels like and looks like a scam, to me.

We got a few calls from this number. We are in NC. The girl, who did not speak very clearly, also indicated it was the Breast Cancer Association. I told her we were not on the Do not call list. She said charities are exempt -then hung up.

I let the answering maching answer...no message.  Callerid said "Nebraska."  Oddly, the number displayed was just 715-9245...how did they block out the area code?  I'm in the 321 area.

I received calls from this number as well as707-236-4402. The first was from Nebraska, the other from California

I let the answering machine pick this one up, as I didn't recognize the # and don't know anyone from Nebraska. When the machine picked up, it sounded like someone fumbled with the phone or dropped it, and then the line went dead. More than likely a scam, but even if you think it is some sort of "charity" you should NEVER give your CC or Bank acct. info over the phone like that.

I just called them and said "I just received a call from you guys and would like to come off your calling list."  A really nice lady said that she could put me on their "Do Not Call List" internally.  She said that it can take up to 30 days to remove you from their calling list, but usually only 7-10 days.  Hope this helps you guys.
