716) 402-1834 calls me with a man yelling at me and threatening me, saying i took a payday loan out in 2006.  That they are sending me a 1099 IRS tax form.  When I stated that I received calls from this number last year and I knew this number was a fake number used to threaten people, the man again yelled at me and said THEN DEAL WITH THE IRS LADY.  YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHO YOU ARE DEALING WITH.  Then he hung up.  I immediately called him back and told him that I again researched the number he was calling from and would not be threatened by him or his company.  I then hung up.  He called me right back and I handed the phone to my husband.  Of course, the man did not say anything at all and hung up.  I NEVER took out any payday loans at that time.  I was in fact unemployed and collecting social security at the time.  And the dates the loan was supposidely taken out, I had only had my bank account for 3 months.  Not enough time to take out a loan.  My bank would not have given me a payday loan as they knew my government checks were being direct deposited into my account.

I called a job placement company looking for work, and he asked me why this number was coming up on his caller id# I called the number and asked them why? after collecting information from them I found out that they have a tap on my phone looking for a person in my family location,, they told me they use trace skipping and do monitor phone numbers of a family or a person that may know where the person they are looking for to find out there location. i asked to be removed from there system time will see.

I picked up the phone, said nothing & then just hung up on them..

I got a call at work from this guy that claimed to be "Klaus" running a company called "Mega" something (can;'t recall exactly)....  evasive, asking lots of questions about our company.

This phone number is actually from West Interactive Corporation in Omaha. One of their clients is Dominion Electiric in Virginia. Hope that helps SOME...

This is WEIRD.  I got a call today (on my cell phone)from this number. The woman knew my first and last name and that I had connected ELECTRICITY at a new residence earlier in the day (about an hour before the call). She asked me to call the utility company back (not her) to verify information about the previous account holder. I felt this was very ODD, but I was curious so I called the utility company. The utility company said that my number was not yet active in the file, and there were no notes requesting a call back from me for any reason.  I am baffled! She said her name was "Susie" and that she was calling from Dominion Electric Power in Virginia.

Since my last post, I've received other calls from this number. Upon inquiry, I found out that this caller ID comes from re-routed calls to a valid 800# number for our Organization.

Go figure...

I called back and got a live person (surprise!). I asked about what type of company it was and the person said "Telecommunications." Upon further inquiry, the person said, "Telecommunications, you know, telemarketing, inbound and outbound."

I'll sure be glad when it's been 31 days since I submitted my number to the do not call list.
