I got a call from this number identified as "Security".  I Googled it and saw many complaints, so I put it on Call Block.

Looks like they are back at it.  Wanted to give me a security system.

called today did not answer . never leave a message . do not call list is USELESS !

Caller ID said SECURITY.  No one answered so I call blocked it.  I have had this one before saying they want to put a sign in my yard and someone has recommended and ordered my a home security system, they just need to know where to deliver it.  They just want information and I am not willing to share.

People - the DNC list does not monitor your phone calls!  If you do not report these numbers to your local attorney general or the FCC, nothing will happen.  

Also, if you have done business with these companies in the past, or they are a registered charity, they are allowed to call you until you tell them ( keep track of when and who you talked to!).  If they persist, you can collect up to $1500 in small claims court if they continue to call after a set period - usually 30 days.

Look up the rules in your state and arm yourself with information!  Then DO something about it!  This site cannot do it for you!

Called Dec 6, 10:13am. I never answer calls from unknown people.

These calls keep coming to my home.  We always choose the option to stop all future calls.
They do not stop calling.

Caller asked if I knew that algol dan is a good man even it's been brief. WTF!?!? I told him, yeah, yeah I know. LOL. Just delete all my comments.

Got scammed doing IT work for friends and their middle eastern family. Boss man gets bought out and loses his job before he can pay me. He gets scammed. Who are they?  Boss man is taking one to court. Dirty Scammers!

Those restaraunt scammers who stole money from CW were Pakistani. They are probably still scamming people
around West Palm and Miami! The nerve of some people.

Call today 10:44 a.m. - Didn't answer; no message left.  Caller ID said Security.

Just got my 2nd call from this number.  I did not answer nor was there a message left.  It comes up on my caller id as "SECURITY."  I called the number back and it went instantly yoma recording saying press any key to be removed from our call list.

Robo call... Caller ID identified it as "Security"... recorded message offering a free home security system... "Free" means minimal equipment and standard installation... anything more and the customer has to pay... also requires system monitoring ranging from $25 to about $35 monthly for 3 years.

Much the same as the previous posts here.  It's some fly-by-night security company.  Started out with a Robo call, but I ended it right there.  

I keep receiving callds from this number, each and everytime I answer the call (after just 2 rings) they always hang up. I then try and call back aniam unable to reach a live person...

What a waste the calls are! I get the same tired a** calls every month that crime has increased in my neighbor. Well until the police catch me it's going to be an increase! Just joking folks but in a more serious vein I am on the DNC (do not call) list. Never fails to fail I get a call every month from these people. I understand it's their job but if I am on the DNC list I'm on there for a reason.

Robocall. I answered, immediately put phone on mute to foil voice detection. Caller disconnected after 20 seconds.

My land line is becoming increasingly useless. Better than 60% of the calls I get on it are spam calls.

Sales call.  They do not understand do not call list.

Two can play this silly game!  I got them on the phone and sounded terrified because there was an increase of crime in my neighborhood.  Just think about Ms. Alice, all alone and by herself, surely they need to call her, had they? And I heard a siren just last night! Oh I wonder what that was, did someone get broke into?  Just keep on rambling on and talking smack, they think that they have a great big sucker on the line.  When they ask if you are a homeowner say YES and keep on going, they are loving it because their scam worked!  Keep them going just as long as you can and then when they ask for your address tell them that you have recently moved and don't think that you are going to like your new neighborhood.  Then keep on pouring it on, tell them about how once before you saw a break in and they took everything or maybe just the salt and pepper shakers, it don't matter, lie like your life depends on it!  They will ask for your address AGAIN, tell them that you can't remember the numbers and give them the street name that the 'projects' are in for your town. Eventually tell them that you are in an apartment, that will surely piss them off!  Then if you really want to rub it in tell them that they are Government Subsidized.  It worked for me!  Let's see who can keep them on the phone and listening to BS for the longest amount of time.  I even had her looking on Google maps to see my new home! What a fun time!  It was an awesome way to blow off some steam and get away from my desk for a bit.      

Please expand on your comments about reporting it. If lots of us knew how, I'd just bet that we could light up a few lines to the correct agencies.

Update your system and it can.  I have an old system that I love, I can hear it lots better than my new system but several of the phones had died and the screen went out on the 3rd one so now I only have 1 that was functional.  I bought a new set and I can make it play several different ring tones for what ever number or select no ring.
I love Fur Elise since my cousin was learning it on the piano 40 years ago so... when ANY member of my family calls, it plays that song. My son's friends play the Star Spangled Banner and my daughters friends play Merry Christmas, that way we have a clue as to who is calling or who it is for. If it rings normal then it's my job to answer it.   I even turned the ringer off for several numbers.  It lights up but doesn't ring. The only problem that I have is that I keep the old phone clipped to my shirt 90% of the time and it just rings, nothing special, so I have to look at it or sometimes I turn the ringer off so that  hear the other systems rings.

We did not answer and caller did not leave a message.  Call came in on a 'non-published' number.

Just leave your FAX on we do 24/7 you do have caller ID you see who is calling you if you want call them back all my family & friends know this if we don't pick up by the 2nd ring the FAX kicks on but we do all them back VERY SIMPLE.....................OK

The DNC registry is a government run program that doesn't work, need I say more?
