Fake debt consolidation idiots.  I like to waste a bit of their time:

ROBO MESSAGE:  "This is Card Services.  We have reviewed the balances on your credit cards, and you qualify for a lowered interest rate.  To speak with one of our customer service representatives, press #X now!"

I press #X and get a human idiot.

ME:  "Yes, I understand you can lower the interest rates on my credit cards.  Is this true?"

IDIOT:  "Absolutely sir, we can do that for you?"

ME:  "That's great!  Which cards are you referring to?"

IDIOT:  "All of them sir."

ME:  "Wow, that's fantastic!  What banks are my cards drawn on?"

IDIOT:  "Excuse me sir?"

ME:  "Well, if you're telling me that I qualify for lowered interest rates on my credit cards, surely you know what banks those cards are drawn on, right?"

IDIOT:  "Um, no sir, I don't have access to that information?"

ME:  "Really?  Well, can you tell me the current balances?"

IDIOT:  "No sir, like I said, I don't have access to that information?"

ME:  "No kidding!  Well, what are my credit card numbers?"

IDIOT:  "Sir, I don't have access to that information.  You'll have to provide me with all that before we can proceed."

ME:  "Wow!  So let me see if I get this straight.  You don't know the banks my credit cards are drawn on, you don't know the current balances, and you don't know the card numbers, but you've reviewed them and determined that I'm qualified for a lower interest rate on all of them.  Is that correct?"

IDIOT:  "Yes sir, that is correct."

ME:  "And what is the name of your company again?"

Called me about a free security system at my home for only putting a sign in my front yard.. they hung up on me when they called back  4027797716 was the number

Called on my cell.  Didn't recognize the # and didn't answer.  Aggravated that they called my cell.

Called me too, on my cellphone so no name.  Ignored.

I'm in Arizona. I also didn't answer.

Just got a call from this # in Ohio.  Fortunately I screen unfamiliar numbers.  No voicemail left.

Don't know this number. Must be telemarketing. I don't answer #`s that I  do not know,don't have time for them.

They called, and it rolled over to cell.  Picked up and said "Hello", and they disconnected.  Aggravating idiots.

Called my work phone at 8:30 last night.  Didn't leave a message.  Almost returned the call this morning because I thought it might be a customer, but I don't have any contacts in that area code.  I like this site, and will keep it as a reference in the future.  Thanks.

Just showed up as a missed call. Usually these types of calls do not immediately start talking after you say hello. I usually hang up, without waiting, since that flags it as machine-dialed.

It called me on 8th April and 9th April. on 8th it is from different number. but matter is same.. I think the same will repeat tomorrow with different number.

Very creepy call hung up immediately.

Received call on my cell (gee, and I thought they weren't supposed to do that). No message left. Not sure if calling them back is worth it or not. But I can block the number.

They called me asking me if I was interested in hearing them verbally masturbate for 20 minutes. I quickly said no thanks you and hung up.

Missed a call on my cell from this number. Returned the call after looking at everyone's comments. I got same message, "Press any digit to remove your name from this list."

just got a call on cell phone. I live in CO....I never answer if I don't know the number....glad I read the replies....When is the government going to go after all these scammers.  Getting called on a cell phone is worst...that is why I still have a home phone to try to buffer this type of stuff by never giving out my cell number but it looks like that didn't work after all.

In Virginia and just received a call from this number. I blocked the number.
