Life Alert or similar company - they keep calling after I asked to be put on their do not call list & told them I am not a senior citizen & not interested. Now they keep calling & don't even leave messages & no one responds when I do answer. They keep awitching phone numbers as well. This is the 2nd or 3rd number they have used to harass me.

Received this call at 1215pm Jan 28 2013 to my fax line.  When I call back I get a series of clicks and clacks with no ringtone or voice answering system.  Others here describe the call as a scam site and I believe they are probably correct.

What company is this that calls all times of the day. They never leave a message. We are on the do not call list about apparently this doesn't bother them

I received a message this evening January 21, 2013 and a few days ago the same call.  I believe it is the same recording of Senior Citizen.  I checked this is a Voice Over Internet type of call.  So every time someone picks up their telephone to see who this call is from, my guess is the person who is behind this so-called scam, receives money.  Unfortunately this type of call does not qualify for the Do Not Call List, beats me why they even gave us the Do Not Call List opportunity because it has never done me any good.  And those of you that are receiving the calls on a Cell Phone instead of a Landline connection, then it is definitely an illegal call.  Report the phone number, date and time to your wireless provider service for follow-ups.  Telemarketing type calls are illegal to call cell phones as they were not invited by you to call you on your cell.  The cell phone users have more rights than those of us who are stuck with landline connections.

I continue to receive calls from this Eastern Nebraska number.  I have never answered any nor has the caller ever left a message.  This caller does not acknowledge or honor the National Do Not Call Registry and certainly will not in the future either.  I would be very pleased if a State Attorney General were to get involved and not only identify this caller and stop the calls, but find some means to invoke penalties which would make a difference in this parasite's practices.

I answered a call from these people today.  My phone showed the number to be a wireless caller.  The recording I heard said I would get something for free, but I suspected it was a scam to get you to buy a service.  See post by "Reported to Attorney General" today.  I agree with what he said.  I reported the call on the National Do Not Call Registry complaint site.

Received another of these calls after repeadily requesting to have my number removed from their call list.  They refuse to do so and they are breaking federal law.  This is a con-group selling life-lines used mostly by senior citizens.  The scam by telling their prospects that the installation of this service is free.  What they don't tell you is that in order to have the "free installation" you have to subscribe to the service which is not free.  I have a life line and I was not charged for the installation of the equipment and that is true of this kind of service.  I will continue to report this to the Attorney General of my state and the FCC and suggest that others do the same.  If this call comes from another state than yours, report these calls to the Attorney General of that state.  These people are scam artists and the only way to get rid of them is to continue to report them to authorities.
