It is from the Veteran of Foreign Wars collecting a donation.  I really don't think the man speaking to me really understood what it was either because I kept asking question after question.  I finally said I couldn't (I refuse to give out money to something that I do not know).  Heck, he didn't know how they were going to collect money either.  Could be a scam?

The caller from this number does not respect my privacy since I have asked literally six times to removed from their list.  I will never give a penny to the organization, no matter how worthy the cause.  This kind of intentional discourtesy needs to be illegal.

I've started targeting their telephone service providers, if the company's identity isn't known. This is a result of advice from a state or federal agency. The complaints have gone through the FCC and the federal/state do-not-call sites. The site I use is 'The ANI Report'. Their site address is http://anireport.com.

Based upon the comments above, i called the number hoping i could get my # removed from their calling list.  It WAS NOT the VFW, i could barely understand her when she said she was from some company who wanted to offer help to homeowners with their mortgages...blah, blah, blah...i just said "Oh, no I'm not interested. thank you" and hung up.  Hopefully, they won't call anymore.  we'll c??

I've been getting calls from this number for three days & they hang up when I answer.

I get messages on my answering machine form this number sounds like running water for a few seconds.

Got a guy on the other end who was quite rude, stated Veterans of Foreign Wars - Nebraska, still trying to figure out how to get off their call list

We just received a call that listed this number on Caller ID as "Columbus, NE" - when we answered there was no one there.

Something with the veterans of foreign wars. Called 5:08 pm today

Called today and only let it ring 2 times then hung up.  Also, getting calls that say Chadron, NE and Ainsworth, NE along with this one that says Columbus, NE.

If the people on the other end are yelling and screaming, it is not a VFW organization.  I suggest reporting it to the attorney general office or FCC.

Got a call from this number. Didn't leave a message.

Get this call every year and finally know the number so don't answer the phone but they never give up!!! They keep calling and calling and calling. They say they are the Veterans or Injured Soldiers of Foreign Wars or something like that. So tonight the call came again so I answered right away and said I wanted to be put on their do not call list. The guy got very verbal and threatening and I kept repeating to put me on their do not call list. He ended up by yelling at me "thanks for not supporting the men who fought for me in the past." VERY HARASSING - THIS NEEDS TO STOP!
