Received a call from them today - first time.  In reading responses plus research done by others on different sites, ETI is a sort of trade magazine renewal place.  While we have trade mags come in, they are free to us and have never had anyone call us about it.  We send a card and that's it.  

These guys are up to no good.

I receive daily calls from this number wanting to update our info for a "free magazine" my boss gets.  I have told them EACH AND EVERY TIME that I will not give out any info over the phone.  Yet, they continue to call.   How dumb are these people?  Give up - I will never give you any info.  It's too bad if your company is legit but there are too many scams out there.

Nice try, but your company called the company I work for...phone rang twice...I picked the line up and your company had hung up ALREADY!!!  So, 5 rings is NOT actually true.  I am sure that the publications are not actually free, somewhere in the long-run companies are charged for them.  I have dealt with this in past.  When this happens to a company once, you tend to wise up to scams!  Please do not waste companie's time or money by doing what you do.  If we wanted your services/products we would contact you.  Thank you!

I have been getting these and a voicemail lasting almost 3 minutes was left on my cell, but they said nothing.  I reported to authorities.

I have not had a magazine/newspaper subscription for over 10 years and yet your company still calls me.  Your number has now been blocked.

Woman called asking for someone who had retired over 9 years ago! ifnormed her of this and refused the offer of a free publication....refused it five times. Continued to say no thank you and hung up since she would not listen.

Caller calls, gives phoney name and when not interested hangs up immediately.  Called back to complain and person said no person by the name phoney name given (Mr. Drew).  Person then said they would take care of it and hung up.  ETS is the company. Enhanced Tele Services out of Omaha.  The goofball hiring these people is:

Please call our main number --- I would like to look into this.  No one should EVER be rude.  We pride ourselves on being respectful and quick on our updates.  We update free trade publications--THEY ARE NEVER INVOICED.  95% of the time the reader has signed up to receive the publication-or we have a wrong number.  Have a great day!  ;  )

From what I am reading here, I understand the problem. The caller does in fact want to renew some sort of magazine or industry publication that you ordered and currently already receive... for free. It could be one of many. I have a bunch coming... free. Not a major threat, folks. If you don't want the magazine any more, tell them your company went out of business and to save the paper. They will gladly cancel your free subscription.

Called and wanted me to update info for FREE** magazine subscription. They are never free, they send it to you and send you an invoice for the magazine. So I hung up. He called back and I hung up immediately. He called from a blocked number, I picked up and he said "Well, that is very rude of you..." and I hung up on him again. I can't believe he had the nerve to call back.

You are a jerk!  The reason that people don't wast to deal with your company is clear based on your email, you are not only a jerk, but moreover an arrogant jerk!

Of course you're selling something (architectural products...quelle drag). Your "interviews" last forever, quick?, right.

We do not want to call you if you do not want the publication we are calling for.  Give us your # we will place it on our NEVER call list--and all will be good.. have a great day.

Our phone number was "spoofed" for several months.  Basically, someone swas using our number on a caller ID.  We alerted the Local Television stations in the areas they were calling.  We also had a spot done on our local TV stations.  No one should ever give out bank information over the phone..Our banks know our information and would never ask those kind of questions.  We call businesses only ~~between 8-4:30 M-F.

Our company SELLS nothing.  We work for publishers of free trade publications.  We have updated  databases for over 17 years.  Our rating with the BBB is A+.  We let the phone ring 5x and hang up when no one answers.  Our people have been doing this for a long time and are courteous and quick.  If you do not wish to be contacted regarding your free trade publications--please let us know.  In most cases these are publications you or someone with the phone number we are calling has received for at least 1-5 years minimum.

This company has called my business line dozens upon dozens of times and they never leave a message. I have asked to be removed from their system yet they continue to call trying to "renew magazine subscriptions" I already renewed. She said they were not allowed to leave messages which I think is BS. It's simple - If I'm not available, leave a message and I'll return your call. If you don't then I won't call you back.

I think we should cal the local sheriff station and report abuse on them and then track them down at there home.
