You are breaking the law. I have asked MULTIPLE times to be put on YOUR Do Not Call list. If asked, you are REQUIRED to do so, yet you continue to call every year. Yes, even so-called "charities" are required to quit calling if asked to do so directly, so don't pretend you can ignore that.

One would assume that since you attempt to solicit money for members of a law enforcement agency, that you would be expected to be knowledgeable about the laws concerning doing so.

One would also assume that you would NOT call outside of your jurisdiction asking for funds. Especially from someone who never goes into your "fine city" of Omaha. However, apparently, one would be wrong about that.

Oh, and I did report your illegal call.

They are paid telemarketers soliciting money for the police not volunteer policemen.  If they can afford paid callers they do not need my money.

First call left no message; second call I answered and they were solicting on behalf of the police union.

When I answered a guy said "This is the Omaha Police", I said "WHAT DO YOU WANT???" in an angry voice. The guy said "I'll call back at a different time". I said "how about you never call again". The guy hung up.

it rang 4 times when i answered they hung up i tried to call back and just got a busy signal all it said was omaha on caller id

5/28/09  8:25 pm  no message, hung up when I answered.  Phone ID just read "Omaha."

they called three times today. the first time, I was alerted to a voice message but it was just blank air except for somebody handing something to a man named Bill.  The other two times they called no message was left.

They called twice-no message left on voicemail.  When I called this number back (several times) there was never any answer and no voicemail to leave a message.

I received a call from this number claiming they were from the police department.  When I call the number back there is no answer and no voice mail.

Someone "ax-ing" for money for the police union or something
