This is a call from NorthShore University healthcare trying to conduct a survey about local hospitals in your area.  In my case the Chicago land area.

ATTENTION TO ALL WHO GET A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER:  THEY JUST CALLED ME.  IT IS A PROFESSIONAL RESEARCH GROUP DOING A SURVEY FOR NORTH SHORE MEDICAL GROUP.  I RECENTLY HAD A VISIT AND THEY WANTED TO GET MY OPINION ON THE DOCTOR, STAFF, OVERALL STAFF AND THE LAST QUESTION THEY TOOK A NARRATIVE OF ANYTHING THAT MIGHT BE HELPFUL OR COMPLIMENTARY TO THE OFFICE.  I DID MENTION TO THE GIRL ASKING THE QUESTIONS, TO PLEASE MENTION TO A SUPERVISOR THAT MAYBE THEY COULD LEAVE A BRIEF MSSG FOR PEOPLE THAT DON'T ANSWER STATING WHO THEY ARE, WHAT THEY ARE DOING AND THAT THEY WOULD CALL AGAIN.  I TOLD HER ABOUT THIS POST AND SOME OF THE MSSGS HERE WITH PEOPLE GETTING THE WRONG IDEA ABOUT WHO THEY ARE.  SHE SAID SHE WILL MENTION TO A SUPERVISOR.    THESE TYPES OF SURVEYS ARE HELPFUL TO BETTER THE TREATMENT AND STAFF FOR ALL PATIENTS.  :)

Just called the number and it answers as "Professional Research Consultants"  so they are probably doing research re North Shore Health Systems hospitals and or medical groups.  :)

After reading all of the comments above, I am wondering if some patients' files and privacy were put into jeopardy!!!!  And maybe someone is calling now to try to find out info for possible identity theft.  North Shore Medical Group is a group of medical doctors serving a string of hospitals in the North Shore Medical System in suburbs North of Chicago and I have been there AND I just got my first call from them, which I missed because I was in the other room!!  hmmmmm

I used to get a ton of calls from out of state numbers (and reported many here and saw many others getting them, too) from some out of state scammers who claimed to have some carpet cleaning business or some kind of related thing, even though they didn't live in your state. I think this is just more of the same

Weird.........I live in Bloomington IL and just came here to report this....no reports on this number for a while and someone else just reported it.

Just got a call, rang three times then hung up. Chicago area.  I did just have an MRI at Northshore Hospital BUT....in Evanston, IL, not Nebraska so I would never pick up this # or assume it was affiliated with the hospital.

Here's a novel idea for the Gov., FCC...whoever..... look at all the changes our phones/computers even TVs have gone thru and all the privacy info and issues WE have had to cough up and change in the last year...how about making phone ID screens tell the REAL true data of the caller and not just some short punctuated code. How about the Name, and address and # of the caller if it is a business? Wouldn't this at least let us know who wants our time and cut down on these bogus fraudsters?  

I keep getting calls from 402-934-8018 & I don't know any one or any company in NE that should be calling me.

Representative from NorthShore Medical Group wanted a review of my recent visit.  Took about 3-4 minutes of my time.

it rang, i answered...they hung up...i dont know anyone in NE
