A Grayson on caller ID. Left no message.

I thought about the same strategy, but the thing is, they always call my cell, and I end up paying for the time on the phone with these clowns.  There has to be some other way of hitting them.

Same thing in North Texas!  Boy, from the looks of this, they were very busy on the 15th!! Wonder why all of these calls were made on the same day?  Mine said something about home security on the answering machine.  Yes, I'm on the Do Not Call list ---

Got a call today from this number. They did not leave a message.

I see from my card file that a similar number, 402-982-0401, called last year with a caller ID that said 'Private Suite."  That number was associated with Citistream Communications, in Omaha NE.  

The -0403 number with the R. Grayson caller ID seems to be peddling updates to Google 411 listings, according to other comments I have been reading. The -0401 number was doing credit card rate scamming, as well as car warranty abd  discount drug scams.  Who knows, maybe they work for Portfolio Recovery, the zombie debt collectors. That bunch of creeps calls from dozens of numbers.

Anyway, it is not a number to pick up on when it rings.  That only encourages them.

Same in Tulsa, OK. Waste mins for Bull S***. Need to string them up. Didn't a name of the company.

But, I do have advice for all of those who are getting UNWANTED calls from this SCAMMER, and other #'s.
I've been getting calls for a year or two and always, always press the option to be placed on the "do not call list" --- which is a bunch of BS, because they still call...they say "give us 72 hours to remove", but days, weeks, months later they still call.
So, I've pressed the other option, (acting like Im interested), and when I get to talk to a real person, I politely ask them to stop calling, or ask them where or how they got my number, but every time the cowards/dirtbags hang up! Unbeliveable.
So, this is how to get back at them ********....press the option to speak with a person --- act like youre interested, maybe even disguise your voice as an elderly person (these dirtbags love to scam the elderly), and just take them along for the ride about how much debt you owe, etc. ,etc., and how you you pay for their services -- just appear genuinely interested, then ask them where to send the first payment to --- get an e-mail address, PayPal account, or physical address and report that to the police. If they don't give one---tell them to F*** off, and tell them youve just taken them for a ride and wasted their time.  Theyre gonna call back anyways, so you may as well f*** with them ... give them a taste of their own medicine.

The only reason I picked up the phone was because of A. Grayson on the caller id.  He's my favorite  congressman (from Orlando area, a/c 407) and I've corresponded with him before.  I mistook area code 402 for 407.  Dirtbags that called were selling home security systems.

Just got a call from them . they didn't answer the hello . the phone just blank

A machine called me about adding my contact to google 411 directory. I pressed 1 to talk to a person. The first thing employee did was ask for my name (not even a hi). The first thing I did was ask if this is google 411 directory, and then was gonna get their info and phone number to call them myself, or do what is needed through the internet. Employee hung up right away. They do not even waste time.
8 complaints from this number since 2 hours ago; they obviously are not up to any good! big red flags.

"A Grayson" in the caller ID, I did not answer and no message was left.

Husband answered, said it was a recorded message saying "congratulations, you and your family have won...." so he hung up.

Received the same call from "A Grayson".  I was tempted to answer since a friend of mine works for a Grayson's butcher shop, but why would it be an out of area phone number.  I left the machine pick it up, but no message was left.

This was a hang up call for me.

Caller ID makes it appear like a personal # rather than a business. (A Grayson) Recorded message claiming to be updating our Google 411 business listing.  Press 1 to confirm listing; press 2 to remove listing.  I am sure that this is just a new way to compile a list of phish for scammers pretending to be from Google and trying to get my credit card or bank account number to charge me large fees for phony Google SEO ( search engine optimization)
While typing this, another call came from 207-430-3474 (in state) with the same message except only press 1 to update now repeated over & over.  I guess this call was triggered by pressing 2 on the previous call.  I assume, had I pressed 1, a dirtbag would have come on the line and tried to trick me into giving up my cc or checking acct #.
