Another credit card scam

got a call from this number today.  I never, ever, pick up if I don't know the number, and especially if the area code is something I don't know.  402 is East Nebraska (Lincoln) and I live an hour west of Toronto.  Add this one to the long long list of people/callers that need to fall off the face of the earth.

Trying to find something that will do a loud sound, enough give them a second thought about bugging people. I'm sick of it, Im even getting calls on Sunday and after 9:00 PM

called twice in a day and 2 or 3 times a week ANNOYING

second time they've called with no message.

1st call from theses people - I sent it to voice mail - they did not leave a message

These folks are actually really cool when you call, so be nice, everybody. They handle hundreds of companies and can do a 'Global' removal of your name & phone number. Again, give them a call and be nice. Takes about 24 hours to take hold in the system.

I receive numerous calls at my place of business almost daily from this number, no one is ever there.

Called my cell and did not leave message. I dont know how they get cell numbers but its irritating.

They called my mobile but I don't use my mobile for incoming calls unless I have s special ring set up.  No message left.

this number keeps calling and then hanging up on me when I answer, this is not the only number that does that. There is a 1-800 number, there is a 1-403 number and another one I do not remember at this time. Does anybody know if this is a fax machine searching for a number or is there something more to this? It is getting ridiculous. calls all hours of the night are unacceptable.

just so you know the national "do not call list" is fake...   even though you may not recieve as many calls for a year,  they will all have your number the next year

Did you call your posted customer complaint number? Any results? Am willing to call them if you think there is any positive outcome from doing so. Anything to stop the harrassing calls! We all have to stand up to these groups they have pestered up with impunity for far too long.

I've been called as much as one a day over a week or so from this Omaha, Nebraska number. I've punched three to be deleted but does no good. Finally I punched one and came unglued on the female answering and demanded my number be removed. No calls for a week. Then one from the Virginia number and repeated my request. Heard this morning from a lady but punched one again to speak to her. Connection broken. An hour later the same male call again. Punched three for half a minute. Am almost ready to have all US originating calls blocked.

This call came through,I too am on the Do Not Call List,When I get these type of numbers I usually report to Do Not call list-It doesn't always help-This also looks like am American Number

The company name appears to be: Citistream from Nebraska

a company wanting to lower my credit card debt @1-402 982-0421 called me. When I told the guy I was on "do not call" and ask the name of the company he hung up on me!

Called and left message on how to reduce credit card debt. I tried to call back to give a piece of my mind and they do not answer. This is getting anoying. It is the same as the calls that keep coming in and telling us that the warranty is up on our cars. I am sick of this!!

I got a call from this number at 9 pm this evening asking me what my credit card debt was.  When I said I wouldn't reveal that to anybody over the phone and asked their phone number they responded: 1-800-C***.  They then hung up.  Apparently they said they are a company called Laguna.

I just received a called from these idiots about the last chance for credit card rate reduction or whatever.  So I hung up the phone, and I called the b*****ds right back and someone actually answered.  I told the guy, it was nothing but a scam which he denied, and I said there was nothing wrong with my credit card and to stop calling my house.  Then he tried to say that they have very good rates and I interrupted him and told him again to stop calling my house!!!  As soon as he starting talking again, I screamed in the phone.."stop calling my house", and I hung up.  Next time, I will not answer.  Absolutely ridiculous!!

called me unaolicited, i AM on do not call list and have also called this number back to request being put in THEIR do not call list.  have logged complaints on national do not call list registry, MTS can't block the number without a charge TO ME!!!  Trying to find out the name of the company to get ahold of the head office.  I politely asked the rep to please transfer me to his supervisor, he told me i could "have that wish" and proceeded to hang up on me.
