Didn't recognize the number or area code, so didn't pick up.  No voice mail left.  Fonefinder.net shows it as an Omaha, NE phone number.

I received a call from this number didnt recognize the area code so i didnt answer.

Didn't recognize the number so called it back and got a recording to press one to be removed from the call list for special promotions.

Received call on my cell, didn't pick up and they listened to my outgoing voicemail greeting because my phone showed New Message, but they hung up w/out leaving a msg.

Didn't bother calling them, don't want to verify my number with them!

Don't answer, they are selling crap.

Got a phone call from a number 402-982-0517, 2 days ago at around 2 pm with a text msg "PLEASE CALL". Ignored it. Wondered what it was.  Looked in the phone directory at list of area codes.  It says 402 = Nebraska.  I don't know anyone in Nebraska. Got a call again today (7-2-09) from 402-982-0423.  Missed call again but googled the number and got this message board.  Sounds like i'm not the only victim.  Yes, annoying.  Anyone have any ideas on how to stop it?

Sounds like a scam... The recording says that my credit card interest is about to go up unless I speak with a representative... After being instructed to push 9 a lady answered... I asked who they were trying to call and I was hung up on. The funny thing is that this call came in on one of 25+ lines we have at work.

I have only had my phone number a week and they already have my number.  Is it possible that ATT is in on this and runs these phony calls to up my bill because I have a daily plan?

BEWARE.  This number advertised being with Account Services for Visa/Mastercard.  I asked several questions and only received vague answers to the organization and which bank they were referring to.  They asked about my card statements, which I told them that I don't carry with me-they wanted to verify my bank and account numbers (of course I did not proivde - NEVER DO THAT).  Shortly thereafter they just hung up.

After reading ME's response from 6 Mar 09, I called back and pressed 9.  Hopefully that will work.

Also got call marketing lower interest rate on credit card. First question-how much do you owe? Without answering I asked if they were going to ask me for credit card numbers. They said yes and I terminated call. Hope they don't hook anyone with this scam.

Now they are presenting themselves as my Credit Card Services company and tell me that I can lower my interest rate.  Press 9 to talk to a live representative.  Funny they didn't say 'which' of my credit card companies they represented.

They call me twice a day every day even on Sundays and if I hang up on them they call me right back...quite annoying. I too have called back and pressed one for no more calls but to no avail...I just ignore their calls now in hopes that they will give up.
