I had the same thing happen to me just a few minutes ago. A MARKETING PLOY that just gets under my skin.

7/22/10 at 9:45 am-Call to my cell phone from this number, automated message to take a survey-soemthing about if I answered 10 questions I'd get tickets to the Bahamas......obviously some bogus marketing call, I hung up.

Why doesn't OBAMA, PELOSI & REID do something constructive and stop this calling harassment?   They sure as HELL are trying to get into the rest of our lives.  Do something for the people for a change!

I think that by calling back and pressing 1 you are validating your number. I got these calls until I fell for that trick. Ever since then I get at least 2 per day.

Esta sol now uses 402-982-0538 as well as 204 DC interchange number and calls at least twice a day to my business line.

i have my phone set to block all calls that aren't in my contact list and every not and then i check my blocked calls out of curiosity and this number called me twice this morning and hour apart.

Just got a call from them at 9:34pm, missed call...

Missed call, no message left.  It looks to be spam, so I'll block the number.

The same thing has been happening on my cell for a few weeks, although I never enswered.  (The last time was 1:43 this afternoon.) Now I know.

Me too i keep getting calls from this number as well but have never picked up!

The same marketing company calls me a few times a month. I usually don't pick up and I call back to an answering machine that says "Press 1 if you would like to be removed from our calling list." I've done this probably.... 10 times already in my life. But the calls keep coming. Wastes my minutes and my time...something like this needs to have better regulation in the united states.

This a marketing company that ATT Uverse gives them our numbers.  They ask for a number to reach you when you have a repair/change in service and a repairman is coming out....then they sell our phone numbers to this marketing company.  I HATE ATT....they are ALWAYS automated, and they have all these automatic automated calls that call to let you know your service has been repaired and how important our business is....and then if you have a question and/or comment....it is automated, they hang up and you have call ATT back and go thru automated hell to get to a person in a foreign country, who does give a SH--.  Now they gave my cell phone number to a marketing company.

Google this phone # and ATT Uverse advertises!!!!!!  and I just gave them my number last week.  I HATE ATT!!!!!!!

These idiots call me about twice a month. I have no clue how they got my number! Don't bother waiting on the line to tell them you don't want to receive the calls anymore; I did that and I am STILL getting them. I'm so sick of hearing that stupid annoying "Buzzzzzz...This is your captain speaking!"...UGH!

Just called me - what a crock...I think I heard "Home security services" is the company that sponsored the "survey".  I tried to google them and didn't find a match.  Let's go to the Bahamas!!  Right.

They've been calling me the past couple days around 4:45 PM EST and it pisses me off so much!!  It always says "This is Linda, please stay on the line while I transfer your call" and it's obviously automated.  DO NOT ANSWER THIS CALL!!  JUST HANG UP!!

I just got a call from them but I wasn't able to get to my phone in time. I decided to look the number up and found this page. I am so glad that I was able to see these reports about the number before I called it back.

Keep getting this call from 402 982 0538 every week or so. It's a scam. We have an unlisted number. They either got it by randomly generating numbers or by purchasing it from another scum bag. Just hang up. Don't worry about being rude. These people use others good manners to hook them. Just hang up and don't give out any information, period - ever - to any unknown caller no matter what they say.

Message left on my VM consisted of just music and then went blank.  Also got the same recording from them coming from 402-982-0603.

I'm actually from Omaha, NE. I figured a friend of mine had left a voice message, but when I listened to it, all I could hear was tropical music!  Now I know it is just a scam number!

Received a couple of calls from this 402-982-0538 number and did not answer.  Internet shows the # to be a nonpublished landline in Omaha, NE.  Other people on this site indicate that it is a spoof #.  WIll block it as that is about the only way to stop calls from a spoof #.  Sadly have been receiving a number of telemarketer and prank calls recently.  One voicemail yesterday claimed to be from what appeared to be a possible criminal.  Numbers are nonpublished, but had to be give them out as emergency contacts after a guardian died.  What appears to be pissed people are trying to misdirectly harrass the wrong targets by phone.

Called at 10:37am on 9/17/10. Caller ID showed the caller as "Esta Sol".

Yes, same thing.  Called back, pressed "1" get on their "do not call list".

Yeah I got the same thing and most definatley pressed 1 - cant stand phoned telemarketing.
