Tis number has been calling for months, sometimes 3 times a week & is very annoying as it's always a recording.  Never has the call made by a real person who actually talks. I usually hang up as soon as I hear the same words " The is your last call to get your credit card lower".  It's never a last call.  They continue to call.  Wish something could be done legally to get rid of annoying calls from scammers.  I also am on Do Not Call List.  That's a big joke- does not work at all.

Its just a 3rd party firm. I called back the number and spoke to someone who answered a few of my questions (I wasin't asked to give out any info). I was just curious and I was told they contact card holders who make their payments on time, and they work with banks to negociate lower rates. I asked if there was a fee, and she said if they can save you over a certiain amount they will take a portion of the savings afterwards. I told her it just seems fishy that someone would call me up out of the blue and ask me for my account number. She rebuttled with a "well if you're not comfortable, no one is forcing you to give anything out"  Seemed a bit rude but in the end after disconnecting I'm glad I called back, and left it at that. I think if it was truly a scam I would have never getten a response.

Caller ID says its from HIP VIP.  I've never answered it.

Call from 402-982-0539 - apparently they've changed their tactics because now they are offering a cruise to Nassau...obviously still a scam to try and get credit card info.

Read the previous posts and it appears someone is furnishing names and phone numbers to this outfit.
Had some medical bills but nothing warranting "credit help".
There's a quizzling out there folks and there is a common denominator between all of us.

left no voice mail how can we block these calls like a spam filter?

No one there when I pick up, seems like a automatic dialer that isn't working correctly.

FYI people, the first 6 #'s (or4) of your credit card is called a bin#...it is a # assigned to your bank that issues the credit card.  It is not hard to get those numbers if you tell them the name of your credit card company.  I have received 2 calls so far from that phone #...I of course did not answer it...but they left a few messages looking for someone other than myself or my family....sounded weird so I decided to google it and found others that also have been receiving these calls.  Hopefully nobody on here was dumb enough to give out their full credit card number and/or experation date when asked for it.

Recording said it was "Heather with Account Services" and there is nothing wrong with my credit card account. Press 1 to find out about a special offer to reduce my interest rate on my credit card to as low as 6.9%. I pressed 1 and was transferred to a live rep who asked if I was interested in lowering my credit card interest rate. I asked him which credit card and he said he was with Mastercard/Visa account services and since I had made all of my payments on time for the last six months I was now eligible for a reduced rate. I asked in a surprised manner that I had made my last six payments on time and he assured me that was what his information said. It was then I informed him that I didn't have a credit card and hadn't had one in over 10 years. I asked to speak to a supervisor and he said he was the supervisor. I informed him he was lying as I've worked in call centers before and know people that have done that same thing. He continued to refuse to transfer me to a supervisor multiple times and when I asked if the call was being recorded he got snippy and said "Yes, monitored... recorded... everything." When I asked what he was going to do if he was fired because they heard him refusing to transfer a "customer" to a supervisor, he said he was a millionaire and didn't care. He then informed me he was going to be hanging up now rather than transfer me to a supervisor. So yeah, having worked for a credit card company before, I know that these guys and any other company like it that promises lower interest rates or extended auto warranties are 99% fraudulent.

Got a Call from 402-982-0539 this morning.  Only the number showed up. I called it back.  It stated Thanks for calling back. To be remove from future advertising press 1.  I did!  I don't know anything further.  Maybe we should all call them, then hang up.  See how they like it.

Caller leaves no messages..just hangs up. number 1402-982-0539..Called the number back and it says thanks for calling saying it was a promotional call about lower interest rate and if you wanted didnt want to be called about this promotion to dial one to be put on the no call list ..this recording repeated itself about three times before disconnecting itself ..IT sounds like a scam..!!!!!!!!

this phone number is for a company who is trying to get your credit card number! DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION!!! They are offering customers a lower interest rate for signing on with them, but they are not legitimate! they are a SCAM! your credit card company will NOT call you offering you a lower rate and will not work with another company to lower your rate. you can call the credit card company directly to ask for lower rates but never give your credit card number to anyone who calls you!!

I pressed 2 to get off the calling list.  A guy with a heavy accent answered.  He asked if I was calling to get lower rates.. So I said yes (knowing he would hang up if I said any different)  He asked what I had in debt.  I said, let me ask you a questions without you hanging up.  He said "ok"  I told him I pressed 2 to be taken off the call list and he interrupted telling me he really didn't care. WOW... I couldn't believe it.  I told him where to go (sad I actually played into his pathetic game).  Oh well.  Actually felt good!

Got a call today (thanks for Caller ID) that I did not answer.  Number is 402-982-0539 - said to be from Credit Help.

Seems they are on a roll.

First time they called Caller ID said Debt Help.  Today they called at about the same time and it says Unknown Name.

Liane Evans is the name that appeared on caller i.d. for this number. I did not bother to answer or call back.

the real name of "heather with account services" is ran david barnea of Boca Raton Florida.  Do a search on this name and you can learn about the guy in Florida that the Florida attorney general can do NOTHING about.  this is a real study in how the law is so worthless when it comes to protecting the average person's privacy.

Call starts by saying they are calling about your credit card debt and that there is no problem but that you are eligible for lower rate (6% is mentioned) with a limited time to respond. Press one to talk with a real person. We are on the no call list. If this is not a charity or a non-profit or political organization then why are they calling?
