This a hole called me with an accent (Spanish) and spoke my first name in Spanish.  I asked who he was and there was a great deal of noise in the background...I hung up on him.  As an attorney, I will press this further.  The company suggests a debt collector and I have no debt.  I am so sorry for all of us who continue to receive these bogus calls all the time.  I have contacted the FDC and in some cases, the attorney generals office in the area where they called from.  They offer absolutely no solution and act like I am from outer space when I tell them what happened.  thank you Scotty - I will take your advice from now on.

Got a call, they said they could get me out of credit card debt for free.  Push one to talk to a rep and 2 to be removed.  Pushed 2 but it just hung up and didn't give confirmation that our cell phone # is removed.

received call at almost 9:00pm .  Told the representative that they may not realise their computer was dialing out so late on the east coast (trying to be polite) and that on a school night with children in bed that this was not appropriate for telemarketing.  When you star 69 you cannot get back to a csr.  It's fine for them to bother you in your home but you cannot request they do things differently without being hung up on.  I am going to try and get someone from the better business bureau to track it.  will see how it goes.  Number was 402-982-0580 and caller i.d. said tri-care.  Their promo was for debt consolidation.

These morons have been calling me for months. The calls that I can still track on my phone are below. They use different numbers -- but it's usually our "friend" Scott and his recorded message.

Whenever I start cussing at them or ask to speak to management or say I'm on the do-not-call list, they hang up. I've opted out about 4 times now, but they just call from a different number.

The number they have is my home office, which I just set up with Time Warner Cable in late September. They have been calling for just about that length of time. Because they started within 2 or 3 days after the phone line was activated, I figured Time Warner had sold my number. So I found the email for Time Warner's CEO and emailed him every time I got a call. Eventually, he got tired of it and had someone call me on my home phone to tell me they had NOT sold my number.

Different number 402-982-0532, different name = Brooks Partners but same company.

This is madness

Calls from this number and others with different last two digits almost everyday, sometimes twice a day.  It is always the same recorded offer from someone named 'Scot'.   Two options are offered: 1- Talk to a representative or 2- Ask to be taken off their list!  When I talk to a representative and start to tell them that I am on the "Do not call list" they hang up immediately.  If I call the number back there is an automated reply saying that they have taken me off their list.  They are liars!  I haven't reported them to the "Do Not Call Registry" yet but I can block the numbers through my phone service (Comcast) who most likely sold my number to them in the first place!

Stick together? I understand you don't want calls, but what are "sticking together" from? These people are calling your phone. Annoying, sure. A heartbreaking tragedy, no.

I kept getting phone calls first for debt management and pushed 2 to be removed from their list and the next day I got a call from the same automated voice wanting to sell me a security system. On my caller id it shows Omaha, NE and other times it has shown the name National Service, LLC. The security system after listening to it doesn't give you the chance to opt out. I'm so fed up that I went ahead and reported them because I'm on the do not call list. Here's a list of numbers that have called me: 402-982-0576, 0543, 0570, 0580. Every time I put them on my call block list they change a couple of digits and continue to call. They need to be stopped.

I received a telemarketing call from 402-892-0543 that showed up as "Nat Serv LL" on my caller id.  We asked they said they were with "card services" and they worked with many different credit cards. Of course, they wanted to offer me a deal.  When I again asked who they were with and I notified them I was on a MO no-call list....they immediately hung up.  I will report them to the MO At-Gen-Off! This must stop!

At 3:44 MST on Nov 9, 2009, I received a call from 402-982-0543 as a "missed call".  I did not return the call as I did not recognize the number, but when I googled it, I see others are also being hassled by this unidentified caller.  I would like to have my number removed from the calling list.

Saw 1-402-982-0543 at 6:39PM on the caller id so I googled it and got this site, they called left no message. 1st time I've seen this number, but wanted to report anyway.

At 6:20pm I got a call on my phone...No message on my voice mail..

Just do not pick up your phone...I even turn my phones off...
so they can call till they are blue in the face...and believe me they will NEVER get me on the phone...NEVER!
I have no idea what the National "Do not call registry" is doing...is this some kind of a farce? I have reported at least 15-20 phone numbers...
In Jan. my state will also have a registry...

I just got this call. The funny part is that my phones in the house have their ringers off. My upstairs phone started to ring a really high pitch ring. When I looked there was that number on my caller ID. They did not leave a message on my answering machine. Weird, huh?! Better not to answer when you see this number on your caller ID.

They just called my cell as well. Google'd the number, found this page and leaving the info. I did not answer - no idea how they got my cell #. I never answer numbers I don't know.

I got a call from them today as well on my cell phone (on do not call list), didn't answer but their recording left a voicemail.  Sounds like they're phishing for credit card numbers...

just got a call on my cell 5 minutes ago..i didnt pick up when i saw the caller id.i didnt recognize the number so i figured it must be one of those telemarketers. didnt leave a message. how did they get my number when I'm on the do not call list?? please leave me alone!!!

My cell phone was turned off abouth 2:00pm eastern standard time,for late payment.I could not receive or make out going calls on it. Around 4:10 pm my phone ringed and the number 402 982-0543 was on the caller id. I answered to a recording which mentioned my master,visa card cancelation (i dont have one).A live person came on after the recording ,and question wanted to talk to me abouth my credit card.When i told her here that i donot have a credit card account,she said: thnk you,and hung up very fast!Why was that phone number was the only one that could make conection to a phone that was turned? I am so fed up with this crap, I have called them

I have reported them to national do not call
list 4 times.  I Heard the Best way to
get them to leave u alone is to tell
the caller to hold on, thfn just put the
phone down but don't hang up;  and they will wait and
wait like fools.  While they wait they CSM not
receive any more calls for their quota so
this is extremely inconvenient as YOU
ARE now tying up Their lines.  It's fun to
irritate them and then they should not want

Just got a call from them but thank's to you all, I didn't answer and now have blocked them on my phone. I noticed my phone records show they've called here 9 times when I wasn't in.

The caller id 1-402-982-0543 is a sure clue that someone is trying go get past systems that block anonymous calls but doesn't want to be identified.
However I have specific caller blocking so I won't hear from him again.

When I called back I got an useless if you are not interested in our special promotions press 1 to be put on our do not call list.

I suspected them to ask for credit card numbers or something when I got the call,  I just hung up on them I decided to look the number up online. I will see if the saga continues.  I will report them to if I can.  Thank you all for the info.

I get these calls nearly everyday. A stupid recording from "Scott". I hope "Scott" swallows his tongue.
"Scott" also has private numbers of individuals that he spoofs on the caller ID.
