3 or 4 muffeled words when i answered call this afternoon.location is omaha.

I have an unpublished, private number so that my safety and the safety of my children can remain so.  I do not recognize this number and when I called it back I could not find out any information.  There should be rules for solicitors contacting people by phone.

I just received a call from 402-982-0401...... name of company: Debt Free Lifestyle today. Had the 1 and 2 options........talked to someone named Garner Smith, supervisors name: Brian Bailey. His number is 310-568-6007...........read coments and see that this is a common number associated with the others. He has already called me back twice in within two hours. They insisted in order for them to give me lower interest rates, they needed my checking account number to process a check before he would hang up. Thankfull I was smart and told him that I needed time to look up the company, and did find out that the company by this name..........has a warning that a company out of Pakistan was using their name and if you have been contacted by them, there was a number to report fraud........very happy that I did not give out any personal info............. beware they are out there........Here is the thing, have no idea how they got my cell number.....I had just recently completely changed phones.......

I just received a call from this number. The voicemail was a recording saying something about lowering my interest rate, etc. I have a Chicago based cell phone number.

I answered and a man said, "I'm sorry." and then it went to a busy signal. It was creepy.

I gotta call at 11:10am this morning and i picked up.
I said hello a few times then the guy said Hello.
He then remained quiet and hung up

Mine said is was Annie with good news. Effective today I am eligible to be locked in for a lower rate and to call her at 1-877-282-3707 Mon-Fri eastern standard time. How did they get my cell number is what I want to know?

Call came in on my work number. A male answered then hung up. No idea who  this is.

Received a call from this number and 314-9994-1113 with John leaving a message:  "Hi, this is John.  I'm following up on our conversation last week about lowering the interest rate on your credit card..."  Unsolicited phone call!  I am NOT interested in lowering my interest rate.  Isn't there some way we can prevent these people from using our minutes on our cell phones?  UGH!  I will NOT call back but am tired of using my minutes to listen to their stupid voice mail message scams.

They called and I didn't answer.  They (male, said his name was Tim Johnson but didn't identify a company) left a 45 second voicemail saying that I had spoke with them last week, this was their last "courtesy call", and to call a different number if I wanted low interest rates on my credit card.  The problem is I never talked to this guy and don't even have a credit card.  They are definitely scammers or solicitors.

Me too. I got the call @ 2:15 and i got the message to call them back.  I told them that I am reporting to Do not call registry which I just did.

Time for some reverse harassment.

Got this call about 20 min ago. When I said hello, the caller (male voice) said hello and then hung up. I called the number back and received a recording stating that I qualified for some special program. It also gave an option to be placed on the do not call list.

Calls almost daily but hangs up or does not leave message. How can I keep them from calling???

Call hit my cell but they hung up when I answered.  
I call back on Skype and a recording played advising me to hit "1" if I did not want to receive any "Special Promotions" and be removed from the "Preferred Marketing List"

Just got my home phone two days ago and here we go. This is harrassment.

Got a call from this number this morning; did not leave a message. I can't quite trace the call but I can see that it's coming from a landline on Capitol Avenue between North 18th and North 19th Streets, Omaha, Nebraska.  Closer to N. 18th than N. 19th. I believe this is Qwest territory--I will report this to them.

Don't really know what they wanted.

Caller ID states call is from Robert Edwards calls frequently no message is left

I got a call from Robt Edwards at 402-982-0546 (per CID) and a man with an accent told me I qualified for a lower interest rate. I then told him to tell me more. He then started asking questions about my credit cards and debt. I told him that since I was prequalified, they should have all that info already. He then started to me about the program and eventually told me I could save $50/month with their program and a $49/month fee included in my monthly credit card payments (that they were negotiating). I told him I wanted to think about and asked for the company name and webiste. He said it was www.debtfreelife.com and that were accredited by the BBB. Needless to sat none of that was true. He did call me back (this time from 310-568-6007 and CID name was Premier) and asked if I was ready. I told him that website was no good and there were not listed with the BBB. He then said the webiste was www.debtfreelifestyletoday.com and there were not BBB accredited, but had a 5 star rating by the "Chamber of Commerce Network"(Who are they???). I told him, I'd look that up and got off the phone. I have not called him back and he has called me 4 times in the last 30 minutes. So sad to take advanteage of folks in these economic times!

Brand new cell #, didn't answer call. It went to voice mail, but no one left message. Called back and did the take off list thing. How in the crap are they getting my NEW cell #. Does everyone else have verizon that has been getting calls?
