Called my work cell phone at 6:19 PM. No msg. Phone is on Do Not Call list.

Got a call around 8 tonight.  No msg.

Some sort of marketing, automated call half of the message was left on my voice mail.

Didn't answer - didn't leave a message - called my cell phone

Got a hang up today...

I git this call and left no message.  On caller "ID" it said Service Announcement.  I answered and sounded like someone sending a fax.  I hate this!

This number just called, no message, when called back just asked if I want to be removed from thier list, press 1.

What is the point of a do not call list, if it doesnt work????

I just got a call from this number on my Blackberry, which I do not use as a phone.  Weird.  I didn't answer.  If they left a message, I wouldn't even know how to retrieve it.  I am in Northern California.

I received 2 calls from this number and didn't hear it ring, both times no message.

Received a call from 402-982-0585 from a Steve Washington but no message

I am in Canada and this number called my work phone.  Just a hangup, no message.  Called (Canadian) Thanksgiving Monday at 5:35pm.  Dumb.

Called on 10/12 at 2:56pm on my cell phone.  did not answer and no message left.

Thank you, everyone.  I got the same call yesterday on my cell....I will mark this a solicitor so I wont have to listen to my phone ring again when they call back.

They called me 9 f****n times in a row during school I was so f****n pissed off....

called the number back after receiving it on my cell phone. called via land line. All it says is "thank you for calling back. If you do not wish to receive information on our special promotions please dial 1."

and that's it.

No company name, no nothing. dialing 0 doesnt work.

And im already on the national do not call list. Did that 3 months ago with my new cell.
sigh.....

(402)982-0585 is a landline assigned to Citistream Communications, Inc.
1625 Farnam Street,Omaha, NE 68102, one of Omaha's privately-held local telecommunications companies. Their revenues list less than $10M.

Now, why this number is torturing my Minnesota cell phone number is beyond me.

What's interesting to note is a Web site bearing their name: http://www.citistream.com/. They claim they are making the calls.

Call started off with a machine voice.  This appears to be illegal in CA (if not elsewhere) per https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx: "You may also file a complaint if you received a call that used a recorded message instead of a live person (whether or not your number was on the Registry)."
I chose option 1 to speak to an agent.  A person identifying himself as Wilbur hung up on me when I asked the name of his company and why he was calling my cell phone.

this is the 4th email message I received on my cell phone today with information regarding bank accounts, which is obviously a fraud.  I'm getting really annoyed with this.

How can we stop these people from calling our phones and leaving unwanted emails about bank accounts on our cell phones.  This has to stop.

Stev Washington keeps calling.  I don't answer calls from people I don't know.  I've had to resort to turning off the answering machine, so anyone I know can leave a message on my cell phone.  Evidently being on the Do Not Call registry doesn't help.  They've got to hurry & do their dirty business before the gov't finally clamps down on them.

Just called me on my cell phone at 7:30pm in Chicago, IL.  I was on the other line so I didn't get to pick up as I was on an important call. No message was left.  After reading the posts here I'm glad I didn't pick up.
