Just found out a missed call from 402-982-0609.  No message.  
This is my new work Blackberry - the number did not get even distributed yet, so  I assume these calls are generated by a computer program.

Credit card account intrest rate reduction scam

got a call in this morning. area code is for nebraska. called back and got a recording saying if i wasnt interested in their special promotion to press one to end calls.

we'll see....

Rec'd call from 402-982-0609 on 10/14/08 @9:31. No message was left.

No caller ID.  I'm guessing it was TD Ameritrade.

Just called it back and the recording just said I could have my number taken off the list. I really do wish they couldn't call cell numbers! It is my only phone but still it's a pain to get calls from them! I would really like to know which company sold my number to them too so I could stop doing business with them too!

got a call from this number a couple of minutes ago..  i don't know anyone in NE so didn't answer.  they didn't leava message which probably means it is a sales call.  i agree with fedup, why no call blocking on cell phones.

Same here. Number reported to proper authorities.

Received a call from 402-982-0609, indicating the call was about my credit card balances for my visa, master card, american express and discovery cards... I don't even have a Master Card, American Express or Discovery Card!  I hung up, and then called back, selected option 1, as I am not interested in receiving future calls regarding special promotions and want to be placed on a do not call list.

Received a voicemail from this number about credit cards.

I kept getting calls and text messages from this phone number, so i pressed 1 to talk to a person. I asked for the company name and the guy said "Financial Solutions" I asked for his name and he said "Jesse Ferdaniand". I told him it was illegal to call me after I had requested to be taken off the do not call list, and he started laughing. I told him to put me on the do not call list, and he laughed more and said "How about I don't and we just call you again tomorrow". I asked for a phone number where I could reach the company directly, and he gave me MY OWN PHONE NUMBER back. I asked to speak to his supervisor, and he said "okay, hold on. Yes this is the supervisor". I asked again to speak to his supervisor and he kept laughing in my face. If I get another call from this company I will be going to small claims court because it is ILLEGAL to call after you request to be taken off their calling list. This is clearly a scam.

I urge everyone to actually pick up this phone call and give them a piece of your mind and let them know you will be taking action. This is just really annoying.

It is some stupid "credit hardship company" asking if anyone needs help resolving there delinquent credit card debt. In other words, "It's a Scam", it's a machine that does mass phone dialing and it dials a 1000 people a minute and a few of you that really do have a hardship will fall for these idiot's scam and send them your hard earned money and you will never hear from them again or see your credit improve.

Just got a call on my cell, too.  Very annoying to have them use my minutes.  How did they get my number i wonder.

Got a call from this number about 30 minutes ago. I pressed one to speak with a representative. I asked them to remove me from their phone list and was hung up on. They just called again with the same results.

got call from them. no message was left on 7 day old phone number. even I don't know what is my home phone number!

i pressed one to yell at somebody, asked why they were calling me, and the person yelled "BECAUSE" and hung up.   totally scary.   i hate these freaks so much.

i hate these calls on my cell. i didn't get any telemarketers until i put my cell number on the national do not call list. i think the do not call list is just a government scam to make and sell a master phone list to these telemarketers

same call from 4 different numbers with the same area code.  Wanted my credit card information.  I don't have credit cards

Could someone please provide me the phone number these people are asking you to call back using?  For the past few weeks, this company has been leaving an 800# for people to call back.  Unfortunately, they are giving out MY 800#.  So, I've been getting many calls from very upset people and I have no idea how or why this company is giving out my 800# incorrectly.  I spoke with one of the angry people who called my 800# to vent, and he gave me the number that showed up on his caller ID as 402-982-0609.  When I call this, I only get an option of pressing 1 to be taken off the marketing list.  What I really want to do is speak to someone to inform them they are giving out an incorrect number.  Any help you can provide is much appreciated.

I also received a call from 402-982-0609 and no one left a message on my cell phone.  The irritating thing is that I keep receiving calls from this same phone number, but I do not answer as I do not know who is calling.
