Telemarketer.  I called back, and got an automated message.  If you press "1" it will supposedly remove your name from their list.  We'll see.

I started getting calls from this number to my cell phone 10/27/10 & made the mistake of answering a couple. There was silence, then a robovoice "Good-bye" when it disconnected. 11/05/10 the unwanted text messages started and have not stopped, coming from all different numbers. My conclusion is this is some sort of auto-dialer searching for good cell phone numbers. No idea if the owner is the spammer or if their business is to sell the phone numbers. The messages mostly promise money or a free laptop, giving a website. I went to one website for the laptop to see what it held. It walks you through a survey asking for your valid cell phone number (I put in a fake), then sends a code to the number to validate it for you to enter to continue. Since the CAN SPAM act does not address text message from cell phone to cell phone, I suspect the bad guys are collecting these valid cell phone numbers and faking them into the "from" part of these unwanted text messages, which are probably being sent from computers & not cell phones. I logged into my Verizon account & blocked all texts from the internet & e-mail. Let's see if they stop.

this number has called me many times i have started to block them snf for some reason in afew days the same number will get thru to me agian. How is that possible since they have previously been blocked. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

called three times within three hours. has been calling for 4 weeks! asked to be removed three times and it STILL does nothing.

got call from 14029820636 but could not hear well, sounded like a kid. told them they had the wrong number and they said ssorry and I hung-up

caller I.D says DO NOT USE  phone number is from 402-982-0636. no message left.

I continue to receive calls from this company daily.  They never say anything or leave a message.   I have complained to the do not cal registry every time they have called with no results.  I am contemplating findng out where they are located and blowing up their operation.

This number keeps calling me and leaving me no message.

Yeah they called me about 5 times today... and kept calling for the past week.

I keep getting calls from this number.  I called back and pressed 1 as it stated to stop the calls, but 30 minutes later got another call.  Why do I get these calls when I'm on the do not call list?  Ticks me off.

I did not pick up this call when it came in.  Don't recognize it and would like to know who it is.

Someone please help me stop this caller from calling my house every day several times.

I found out that this number is located in Omaha, Ne. and it's in the area of n18th st and Capitol. This is next to the University.  I've gotten several calls from them and so has my mother and her BF, and they are up in  age.   I feel if we start calling FCC or the public utilities in this area they will look into and stop it.

This number calls me EVERY DAY!!!  No one speaks when I answer, so I tried calling it back.  The auto response said "to be removed from our promotional calls, hit 1".  I did.  Calls still coming every day, multiple times daily

This number called and left a voice message. Whomever called did not identify themselves, they repeated "Hello" seven times and then hung up. I could hear what sounded like other people placing calls and conversing in the background. My guess is that this is a telemarketer or some sort of spam.

YOU ARE THE MAN!!!!!!  I was getting illegal calls to my cell phone, and this worked!  I can't believe that you could find this information.  Thank you sincerely for passing this on -- David had left for the day, but the person who answered was very polite and helpful and asked me to call back if I received any more calls after 24 to 48 hours.  The phone number is registered in Omaha, NE.

I only wish we could get this kind of information for all the illegal telemarketing calls!

Called my cell number 3 times within an hour, left no message. Live in MA

They call me at least once a week even though I do the "drop me from your call list"..  Never leaves messages.  Very annoying, I , too am on the do not call list, does not help

They called me numerous times, I picked up.... no one answered.  I blocked them.

I have gotten several calls from 402.982.0636.  I called them back to opt out and they end up calling more.  I am extremely frustrated.  Needless to say, if I can get a person on the line they are going to get a piece of my mind!  UGH!

They call 3 times a day, 3 to 4 times a week.  I used to ignore - they never leave message.
Recently I started answering and each time they ask for Richard.  I have explained Richard never had this number and ask them to stop calling....

Received a call from this number just now.  Person identified himself as being with an organization that works with Consumer Credit Counseling in order to reduce high interest credit card debt for consumers.  Watch out people--this reeks of SCAM!!  I asked how he got our names, and he told me that my husband had called his organization (my husband was right beside me telling me no), so I asked him when my husband had called, and he replied that he did not have that information.  I told him that I wasn't going to talk to someone who called me about my personal finances, but that if I needed assistance I would call someone myself.  Then I asked him for the name of his organization, he stopped talking, and I heard a click.  I redialed the number and got a "Thank you for calling back" message--no company name or identifiers of any sort, other than to say that one could opt out of their "special promotions" by pressing 1 to remove himself from their call list.  Clearly, these people are up to no good, and I am reporting them to everyone I can think of! Shame on you 402-982-0636 callers for wasting the valuable time of good people and trying to rip us off!  Get an honest job!!

I didn't recognize this number, so I didn't answer and they left no message.

I've had at least 12 calls from this number over the past four days even though I have placed my number on the do not call list, if I answer it hangs up immediately. It's getting very frustrating because the times range from early morning to late at night.
