Just got a call from this number...didn't leave a message.  I'm not surprised it's a scam- I've had them before.  It's pretty funny when you get the old "expiring warranty" calls and you're driving a '98 car with 190,000 miles on it!

Another car warranty scam. I've gotten several in the past few days.

This number called and each time I picked up and said hello there was this really strange voice that sounded like a raspy version of Jack Nicholson. He said" Hello, I'm sorry. This is the wrong phone number, I will ensure you this won't happen again." and then the recorded voice hangs up. This happened two times today and I searched up the number online and found this page. Anyone get anything similar?

these ppl call my cell as well as my wifes cell ll the time several times a day it's rediculous

Same as everyone else, received a phone call "notifying" me that my cars warranty is about to expire. Its a used car, no warranty existed.

Didn't answer.  No message.

I have taken to not answering my cell phone if I don't recognize the number.  Since I live and work in the 402 area, I *almost* answered this one, since it could have been someone I know. But I decided to see if it showed up here, first.

I rarely have the same number call me twice.   I get a call, ignore it, and a couple days later, another call arrives from a different number.  When I check here, it's always the same spammer (or maybe their cousin).

I have been getting calls from this number also on my cell phone. I don't answer calls from unknown numbers. I am sure they are scammers.They need to be stopped.

I don't even own a car.

this # calls, no message left.  i am receiving about 2-3 phone calls per week from the auto warranty scam numbers.

These people keep calling my cell even though I've registered my cell number with the national do not call registry.  It needs to stop.

I'm wondering if we couldn't call our phone providers and have them put a block on this number for all calls to numbers in their system.  As many complaints as I have seen hear about it and it is so obviously a scam it seems they could do that.

Been getting allot of calls from this # lately...every time I answer its a recording about my vehicle's warranty.Probably a telemarketing company on a reservation in Nebraska.They are usually contracted by a company to call on their behalf.

Anyhow
I have two classics with no warranty...Please stop calling I'm not interested in what your selling.

How do they even get private, unlisted numbers? I never give my phone number out. It is very strange and extremely annoying...

Automated voice warning that my car warranty is about to expire.  I know mine's already expired... how can I stop being harassed by these types of calls?!?!?!

This number called my cell phone 2x in the past 2 days. It's crazy that telemarketers can call whoever they want. In NJ, it's a state law not to use your phone in the car, and I can just envision myself answering an unsolicited junk call - and getting pulled over for breaking the law. How can these people be stopped?

These people have called me about two a week with a recording saying "this is your final call to renew your car warranty."  Well, it's never the final call, because they all over and over.  I've spoken with a live person, but they refuse to tell me the name of their company.  I even asked them to stop calling me, but they keep calling.

I live in California and these dolts called me.

I don't use my cell number for commercial reasons.  Any idea how they collect cell numbers?  I haven't registered for any credit cards or used my cell number for contact information for any online purchases.

Second time in two days that they've called my cell.  No message either time.  Am wondering how they got my cell phone number as I give it out to no one.

Just got this call 24 Mar Tues 2:43 PM PST.  Got my $10 Tracphone and minute cards at Target about 4 months ago.  Very limited use.  Other than via Tracphone don't know how Citistream would know my number.  How long does it take to file formal FCC complaint?  Thanks for the info AVR - ID!

this number is related to citistream so i went to citistream.com and there's a number for customer complaints there

they said it had something to do with a marketing technique and that they bought my number so that they could sell their products to me or something like that

I got a call from this number on my LAND LINE... it was a similar scam, but not about auto warranty.  This time the message sounded like I have an overdue credit card bill, (and they want to offer me a way to consolidate bills, take over debt, etc.).  It's a phishing scam.  I pressed and got a person, who identified their company as "Credit Services" before she began refusing to answer further questions.  She just asked (I didn't give any info).  Crooked scammers... wish I had the resources to nail them.

Since the economy went to crap I've gotten a deluge of these calls both at home and on my cell.  There are even "mule money" employment scams on the popular job hunting web sites that are being offered. They originate from E. Europe and Russia.

I there a contact person you can call to report this caller? I'm tired of them calling me day and night.

I didn't even answer but I'd figure it'd be a car warranty scam.
