Got a call on my cell phone from this number. What I want to know is, where are they buying their phone numbers from? Is my cell phone provider selling their lists? This is ridiculous! Good thing I didn't answer. Low lifes.

Got a call from this number.  Don't know who it is.  No message.

It was an automated system saying it was a message from my existing credit card (I do not have one). So I hit one and a rep came on the line saying due to my excellent payment history I had been approved for lower rates on my Credit card. They said I recieved the call because I did not respond to the letter mailed a few weeks ago. When I questioned what credit card it was for he stated they work with Visa, discover, mastercard.... and directly with banks like Bank of America TD Banknorth..... When I explained I did not have any existing accounts the represenative hung up. Sure sounds like a scam.

Received call from this number.  No way to return call and told line busy when tried to call back.

Received a call from this number just now on a new cell number that I haven't given out to any creditors.  I pushed zero and got to their customer service, told the guy who answered to take my number off their list, and the jerk hung up on me!  This is the second call today from the second different number.  Somebody needs to do something about these idiots.

annoying call with an annoying recording that was impossible to understand.  wish i could have recorded the message so i could play it back later for amusement and get something positive out of the experience.  i like the advice given above that involves wasting as much of their time as possible.  give them conflicting answers and wrong information.  i.e. "yes i have three credit cards"..... "i have a zero balance on both of them"  ....be creative!

Just received a called from this number!

It can't be related to pizza delivery because I don't order pizza from my work phone number and that's the line they call like once a month or so.

I never answer, they never leave a message.

I wouldn't recommend calling them back because then they will know they got a valid phone number !

I just found what it guys...When you call and oder a pizza from dominoes or any other delivery type service they sell your number to a company who is advertising for whatever it may be.  This can't be leagal.

Automated message wanting to lower my interest rates on my credit cards.  Dailed "2" to take me off the dial list...like that will happen.  I wish them a painful death.

i didn't like the way they just called and hung up, it wasn't necessary!!!!

It's that "lower your credit card interest" scam.  I actually played the game to get through to talk to someone.  I politely asked to be removed from their calling list and the guy said "nope" then hung up on me.  This happened in the beginning of June 2009 and I'm still shocked.  They're rude S.O.B.s but I'm not used to them being THAT rude and blatant.

got another call from these guys and as soon as I answered it they hung up. I have found out un-officially that a lot of these calls are coming to my cell phone just because I ordered pizza for delivery.. Am going to contact Pizza Hut to find if there is any truth to it. but it makes sense, never got calls like these until after I did.

This is a SCAM!!!!! Please don't give these people any information! I'm not sure how to stop them. They have called my cell every day for 6 months! Each time I would say to take me off of their list. I finally just played along and gave them fake information, I recommend everyone do this to waste their time!! They think they got everything they need from me{name,social,address,maiden name, visa number} I'm hoping once they think they have scammed me that they won't call again. We'll see! what a bunch of scam artist!!!! Geez can you tell I am annoyed?

I got a call from this number as well and NO message on my voice mail.  I do not plan to call back the number.  It might be a new method of stealing peoples identity.

seems they're wanting to consolodate credit cards.  not sure they're allowed to call cell phones so i don't think it's an upstanding company.  similar to the ones that call your cell phone to extend the warranty on your car.

This number called on the work (business) phone.  It was an automated spiel to lower your credit card interest rates.  When I tried to call them back at that number to tell them to remove the number from their list, another automated message from "005P" saying "All circuits are busy now.  Please call back later."

Called several times.  I didn't recognize number.  I finally answered after the third call and they hung up.

Just got a call on my cell from this number.  I blocked them from calling again.  People must be desperate for business because I'm getting at least two calls a day regarding either mortgage re-finance, consolidate debt, pay off credit cards, etc. Yesterday the man said unless I say I don't have credit cards, they'll keep calling.  He said he has to put down a code for why I didn't sign up for his credit card protection.

Keep getting calls from this number....ON MY CELL PHONE!!!! WTF!!!!!  If this is a scam, how do they get away with this? and how come legal agencies haven't stepped into looking into this?  Just saw a piece done on this type of stuff on channel 9 news(kcal-Los Angeles)and the scammers are also sending out stuff in the mail disguised as property tax "adjusters" with paperwork that looks like property tax documents.   DON'T FALL FOR IT!!!!!!

Called, I answered. Disconnect, Reminds me of the car warranty calls.

Rec'd call from 402 982 0688 at work...system generated call...i hung up and next time they call, i'll "play their game" and tell them that i have no credit cards to my name.
