I received several calls from (402) 982-0745, normally I would just hang up; but today I got feed up. So, after hearing the bogus offer to lower my credit card interest, I decided to stay on the line and pressed 1 to speak with a "representative". After a brief hold, some woman answered and I asked "what credit card company are you calling from" and she admittedly hung-up. I filed a complaint with the FCC today. If you would like to do the same send an email to fccinfo@fcc.gov.

Had a missed call on my cell from this #. I text the # after no message was left and my provider (Alltel) sent me a message back stating that this was a landline.

Called cell phone. Some recorded msg. about credit cards. I don't have one.

Number showed up on my cell.  no msg left.
I decided to google the number when I got home.
After reading similar posts, I recalled a similar
call a couple of weeks ago, with a Biloxi, MS number.
Posts for that incident are very much like this one.

Glad I didn't pick this one up. Day Sleeper, and it woke me up on my Work Cell at 3:30pm.

this number called and left no message. Have only had this number for 3weeks and have only called family.

i called back and it was a prerecorded message said press 1 if would not like more calls. pressed 1, voice said thank you, and cut off.

We are in central Texas.

They called me around 1pm, I didn't pick up, some guy left a message about how they "knew" my credit card payments were late and that they could "help me" get a lower rate and refinance if I called them back.  I'm going to go ahead and file a complaint about them and their number.  I also think I'll give them a call back and see if I can't SE some more information out of them.  I'd like to see how they would respond if given fake CC info, whether they're simply looking for numbers or if they're actually doing something legitimate.

When I got to the operator, she said "you called to lower your interest rates?" ....I said "you called me."  She grunted and hung up.....lmao...who falls for this s**t?  If I was near omaha, I would f*** these peoples cars up with a bat for sure. When they come out, I go home, they get the message.

Same as the previous comments... credit card something, press 1 to speak to person and then 2 to be removed.  I hung up.  this is a similar scam on auto repair.... don't fall for it.

I went ahead and let it go to the "live operator". They asked if I was calling in reference to lowering my credit card rates. I said yes, but I don't have credit cards nor a bank account. Got halfway thru that sentence and I was hung up on.
