SCAM! SCAM! SCAM!
I just got a call from this number (402-982-0746). They've called several times this month.
I didn't pick up and they didn't leave a message on my voicemail. I called the number back only to get a recording saying... "Your call cannot be completed as dialed. Please check the number and call again or ask your operator to help you."
It's obviously a scammer. Probably trying to sell me something and take my money. Scammers and thieves! And even worse than that they are like little buzzing gnats that you can't seem to smack away.

A guy left a message today saying this is Mr Edwards at the unclaimed funds dept. This is your last notice to claim your money from the sell of your home. This is a time sensitive matter please call Mr Edwards at 9493980403. What a scam, please do not give anyone any of your personal information. Use your caller Id and only call back the people you know...

Foreclosure reversal sales call
jackie 2012-06-19 01:50:41 Unknown
I got a call from this # today, and let it go to voicemail since I knew it was going to be some stupid company trying to sell something or someone claiming to be a relative from out of the country (I've been getting calls from idiots claiming to be family just to try to scam people who fall for their lies). But back to this call, the caller left a voicemail stating he was Michael Hester from the Foreclosure Reversal Dept, to please call back to get this situation fixed that it's a time sensitive matter to call back at (714)455-3645. It's obvious it's a scam since he never mentions who the message is for, what company he works for, or any other identifying fact. I'm really tired of getting calls from random people even though my # is on the DO NOT CALL LIST.

unwanted calls
Fedup 2012-05-18 01:35:06 Unknown
I got a call from this number about 25 mins ago on my cell. I strongly urge you to contact your local State Attorney General Office(SAG). It's election year and they may want to stay in. If one does not want to receive unwanted calls then they should be allowed that option.

Came in shortly after a dead air robocall which I erroneously picked up. Left this one keep ringing - stopped on third ring before answering machine picked up. Guess the call center didn't want voicemail.

Some more words of caution:
If you receive a telephone call (or an email, for that matter) from someone requesting personal information, make sure you know who the caller is. If you do not have caller ID, ask for the caller's name, business name and telephone number and tell him/her you will call back later. Google the business name and telephone number the caller gave you and make sure 1) both match the information the caller gave you, 2) the business is legitimate and 3) the business has a legitimate purpose in requesting information from you (i.e., you have initiated a relationship with the business).
If you do have caller ID and the number of the caller (and name if you have that service) does not show on the caller ID display, or you don't recognize the number and/or name on the display, then let the call go to voice mail/ the answering machine. Google the number to find out whether it is legitimate. If the number isn't associated with a business, agency, or individual known to you, then the call is likely a scam.
Unfortunately, numerous telephone and email scams are out there and the people behind them don't care who they victimize.

Evelyn, this website is for reporting calls from unknown numbers to help identify their origin and purpose. This is not a website to respond to telephone messages left on an answering machine. It's advisable NOT to give out any personal information on a public website such as this. Yes, the telephone solicitor that contacted your sister may read here, but not for legitimate purposes. If you read through the posts here, you will find that callers from the listed number are claiming to be with various businesses and agencies, which is simply a ploy to illegally extract personal information from people. Even giving out names, ages, health status and locations can make you and your sister vulnerable to scam artists. Please be careful.

I'm reporting this for my sister Beverly Crabtree. She had a call from this number from Dayton,Ohio. The lady said they were checking on the senior citzens in Mt. Sterling, Ohio. They knew her name and address. All the question were pertaining to health. How tall, weight and age. Was she in a wheel chair and could she walk at all.
She is 62. She is in a wheel chair. She only has about 10% useage in her legs.

I am getting calls from this number as well. No one on the other end when I pick up. Highly annoying. Please remember that the Do Not Call Registry is through the Federal Trade Commission, not the FCC.
To file a complaint (it only takes a few minutes) go to
https://www.donotcall.gov/
Let's hope it makes a difference! Also, encourage your representative to outlaw so-called "robo-calls." They're already considering legislation. Let them know how you feel!

It seems that as soon as we got on a do not call list.....we get the calls!
It was about modifying our home loan. I politely said our number
was on the do not call list. He giggled, and said "you f****ng bi***, so what"
I calmly and slowly said...."ha ha You are the BI***.....aren't you?"
{{sheesh}} What guy wants to be called a bi***?

Looks like this company has been laying low until just recently or no one's been reporting. My cell GoPhone # is on the NDNC. I reject calls from numbers I don't recognize ( and I know no one in Nebraska).
Fedup 2012-02-23 14:12:01 Unknown
Got two calls from this number within 24 mins apart. 7:56 and 8:20 p.m. Robo calls should be outlawed. The DNCR is so full of holes that just about anyone can get away with calls like this.

I get daily calls about "did you have a recent foreclosure" which I did not. Can't get answer when I call the number. I am on the DO NO CALL LIST. What part of "Do Not Call" don't they get?
