Recieved a few calls from 402-982-0772 but did not answer the first couple of calls.  On the third call, I answered but no one answered.  I threatened to turn their number over to the phone company for investigation if they didn't answer, then loud rock sounding music came on but nothing else.  I want them to stop calling.

I received numerous phone calls from this number and didn't answer.  Finally I picked up the phone and they tried to get me to subscribe to their plan.  I told them I wasn't interested, and they said they just wanted to "help me save money".  After two attempts to be nice to the person on the phone, (since they are trying to make a living) I finally had to get nasty.  Fortunately the calls stopped.

I answered the phone and they started talking and they knew my name and the last 4 digits of my credit card.  I can't recall ordering anything recently.  So I just said no to her like 5 times and got off the phone.  They stopped calling and now I think I'm going to cancel my debit card (which is the one they said to me) and go forward with my life.
So to get them to stop calling - answer it and tell them NO!

Might be coming from voicegenx.com, or an employee of voicegenx.com.  Have you purchased any skeptical products from infomercials lately or As Seen On TV products?  voicegenx seems to be the shopping cart for a lot of them, including spacebags.com.  I purchased from spacebags website recently.  The shipping notice came from voicegenx.com.  A search on them indicates they "sell" a lot of products, many of them less than desirable.  I never received any bogus calls until I made that purchase.

I received a phone call from some lady and she knew my first & last name, and that I had a MasterCard ending with the correct last four digits. She said I had recently made a purchase from one of their sister companies and that I would be receiving several gas coupons in the mail the next several days totaling $125. I asked what sister company and she didn't know but they shared my information with them. I asked which company she was calling from and where,and she said "Vista Services" from Tampa, Fl. I went along with it to see how much of my info they had and she transferred me to some other loser named Dave. He wanted to verify my name, address and Zip code. I hung up after that.
I'm not sure how they got my info or how much they had so I called my bank and alerted them. They said they would put a flag on my account and check my activity but that as long as I didn't give them any info I should be ok, -yeah right.  I'm thinking about cancelling my debit card ASAP.

I got a call from this # today, no message. When I see your stories here, this sounds familiar. I ordered something online last month, and when they called back to "confirm my order," they also tried to pressure me into buying a monthly subscription for a bunch of coupons for stuff like gas and groceries. I turned them down. I think this is them again from a different number, or they've sold my number.

Think back to whether you've ordered anything online ... that's how they'd have your address and credit card number when they call you. This is why I HATE buying stuff online, except through well established companies. They ALWAYS try to pressure you into buying other crap.

I have had 10 calls from this number in the past 2 days.  I never answer because I googled the number the first time it came thru.  This is so annoying, how do we get them to stop?

I have been calls on my cell phone for the past couple of day from 402-982-0772. I refuse to answer. I will try to get the number blocked.

They have been calling me and hanging up but today when I answered the gentleman on the phone told me I would be getting a $125 gift card in the mail and all these other discounts...he knew the last 4 digits of my credit card but when I asked where he was calling from he changed the subject and then I asked what he needed from me and said to make it quick since he was calling me on my cell phone he hung up.

I received a call from this number and a guy told me I receive free gasoline credits which would be delivered to my address, he asked if I still lived at my current address?

At that point this call was too creepy, so I hung up the phone.

Seemed like a phishing scam to me.

This number has been calling like clock work but I do not answer...It's driving me crazy... Not to mention it uses my miniutes... UGH

They call and say they are going to send you free rebates with gas,  but want to charge you 29.95 a month.

This number is calling me too and it is creeping me out. I havent answered it and Im going to block it but if you get a call from this number I suggest that you dont answer or call it back, just block it. It also shows up on my phone as 402 982 772 which is weird but I've heard that some numbers that call like this one can charge you money if you pick up so DONT!!!!

I have received numerous calls from this number in the last few days.  No one answers when I say hello.  There is just silence.  Sometimes the number comes thru as 402 980772.  It appears to be a prankster or worse.

I read all the comments about this number , and apparently i am the only one who's getting those phone calls;
i searched the number and it's a Nebraska area code! i tried to look it up on the 411  website and it's in Omaha - all what i know is that it's a land line and provider is Citistream Communications...
if i wanna know the details i will have to pay for it - which i think is stupid !
the best advice is not to pick up - and check your bank accounts for any suspicion activities.

I've been getting these calls.  I've never signed up for google gems, either.  I don't know what that's all about.  I have not made any online purchases from any online retailer other than national stores, except for spacebags.com, whose cart seems to be handled by voicegenx.com.  They seem to sell a lot of cheap products "as seen on T.V.".  Now I wonder how secure their site is, or if they would stoop so low as to harrass customers after a purchase.  Maybe it's not voicegenx, maybe it's an employee.  I can't think of any other place they could have gotten my info.  I don't answer the call, ever, but they keep calling.

This number appeared on my called id several times. They never left a message. I tried calling the number back but the op. said the number was not valid. They called about about 30 minutes ago. They said I was a prefered customer and was receiveing a free $130 gas card and a package of coupons. All I had to do was pay shipping of around $2.  They had the last 4 of my bank debit card. While they were reading me the 'terms and conditions' I got a really bad feeling that it was a scam. I hung up and called my bank right away. My bank told me that this was not somthing they had authorized. My bank helped me cancel my old debit card right away and put a fraud alert on my bank account.

dmadrid - I also just ordered a Tital Peeler and am now getting these calles.  Looks like their websites sells information or something.  They are about to get an earful from me!  Funny thing too is that when I was purchasing the product, I cancelled instead of submitting, but they still shipped the product and charged my account.  AND NOW I am getting these annoying calls.  I will not be buying online again for a while!

they asked if i was who i am and said the last 4 digits of my mastercard, said i was a prefered shopper and offered me 120.00 in gas card  i told her to take my name off her list and where did she get my creditcard number said thousands of bisnesses are together for advertising I freaked on the lady enough is enough..

I received a call from this number yesterday they said i was a preferred customer with visa and even knew my expiration date on my card. They wanted to send me a brochure to buy coupons at $30 a month and send me $150 in free gas. I said I wasn't interested and the man passed me off to another woman who was suppose to "verify" my information. I told her I didn't feel comfortable doing this then she started trying to pressure me and telling me they will just send it to me and if I dont want it to throw it away...I think they really just wanted me to verify information

I called up my bank that i have my credit card with after and they let me know this is a scam company and that they have been getting a lot of calls from other customers with the same situation.

Do not verify any information tell them no thanks and hang up!!!!

Did anyone on this site order a Titan Peeler?  I just started receiving these calls after I ordered a peeler from the Titan Peeler site.
