Caller ID shows up as Health Alert.  The message on my voicemail (landline) was a woman who said "Oh My God" then the message ends.

I got a call and the caller ID said Health Alert at 402-982-0818.  There was no response when I picked up.  I called the number and got a recorded message offering me the option to be taken off the call list.  I did not elect to do that.  I'm hoping they call back and I can get more information.  A short Google search identified this number with credit card offerings, credit consolidation and vacation packages.  My guess is it may be a phishing scam looking for credit card numbers.  I'll re-post if I get more information

I have gotten a call about health insurance inquiries that were never made also.  I checked with my state's insurance commission.  You may want to call the commission in your state also.  There are scams out there where people are using the confidential medical records of others with good health to qualify for procedures they may not be candidates for.  The number that called me was from TX, 817-560-9028.  When called back they seemed legitimate, but had no idea why they had medical information from someone who never made an inquiry from them.  They have not called back.  If 402-982-0818 speaks to me, I'll re-post if it is also an insurance scam of some sort.

They've called several times in the past. I've answered once before and told them don't call this number and hung up on them. Today I answered accidentally and the man on the other end knew my first name! I hung up on him.

This is a health insurance scam. These people call from all over the U.S.A. and try to get you to purchase health insurance. Someone probably put your phone number into an online form and that's how they have your phone.

This telemarker calls and no one speaks. This is my personal cell phone. For future information to all, I know this sounds bad.  But when we get,a message on cell please help this child because of some rare injury etc. and the phone co. will pay so many cents per forward, this is how they get personal cell numbers. I'm at fault to, FYI

I got a call today and am looking to get the guy who called me turned in. he was rude didnt answer right away, then when I said i couldnt hear him if he had said anything he was rude with his response.  then when i said I wasnt interested he hung up with nothing said...not very good costumer service and a waist of my 2 minutes when i'm taking care of two children....if anyone has any info on how to call them please send it to me.bananasmom04@gmail.com.  they ticked the wrong woman off.

Got the same call 5 min. ago.  Asked for me by name and told them not interested, please take off call list. Guy was very rude and pushy. They have an Omaha # and I have family there so thought it was family.

It's very weird that all of your are getting this call on your cell phones. I got the call about 10 mins ago. Something everyone needs to think about is "what have you done on the internet lately?" About 2-3 months ago I was looking at health insurance quotes. I found a site that that looked legit (e.g. it compared quotes from bcbs, cigna, united health, etc) and I had to create a free profile to see the quotes. Which is fine to me, but almost instantly I started to receive phones calls, I'm talking 10-20 a day, from various companies offering me all sorts of types of health insurance. I politely told them all that I had never requested anyone to call me about health insurance and I was only looking for quotes online. Most were very nice and apologized. I still get the calls but I don't answer because they all have the word "health" in the caller ID. I know why they are calling. So if any of you have EVER filled out info online to get health quotes, auto quotes, life insurance quotes, etc this information is sold to these companies and they will do whatever they need to to reach you. If you have an ex that is maybe mad at you as well it's possible THEY have signed up on your behalf knowing you would be inundated with the calls. Solicitors don't call cell phones unless that number is provided to them as the best number to contact. FYI.

YEAH these idiots call and ask for someone you might not even know and before i had chance to tell them that i didnt they just said they would call back.

leave me alone as if I needed anything I would call you!  I am going to block them out and then  that will be the last.

If you have verizon wireless cell phone you can block up to 5 numbers on their website. SUPER annoying whoever is running this scam sucks!

I have received many calls.  I am on the do not call list.  I have called back and pressed 1 to opt out of future calls, but still get them.  I don't want another call.

They called my landline, which is listed on my states "do not call list".

Trying to sell me life insurance. When I asked for the name and address of the company, they promptly hung up on me.

Obviously not a company I would want to do business with.

Reporting it to the states AG office.

I do not have sprint.  I have metro pcs and am receiving calls from this number as well.

Number called me and did not leave message

I just answered a call from this number and it was a lady saying she was getting back to me about health insurance. I told her I had not inquired on health insurance. She had my email address and date of birth, which I can only assume they got off the internet. She was very unprofessional and did not give her name or identify the company she was associated with.

They are constantly calling my cell and I am with AT&T

Verizon has call blocking but you have to pay a fee for it.

Pain in the butt calls !!!   What in the world can a person do to stop these random, intrusive calls ???

I have call blocking with Windstream, but they only allow 12 numbers.  They could make a lot of money if they charged a couple of bucks and one could block, say, 50 calls. . .or 100 calls !!!

Called my land line today.  Caller ID from "Health Alert."  When I answered, no one replied.

I am registered on the DO NOT CALL list and they are calling me.
