Received call and got a recorded message telling me my home has been foreclosed on and to press this number to talk to an agent.  Since I own my home outright, I thought I would find out who is calling me.  I've been getting calls like this (about 40 of them for the past week and a half).  I asked what company he was with and he hung up.  These messages on this forum may have been from 2010, but these scammers are alive and well in 2013

I am sick and tired of these folks calling my place of business. I have advised them time and time again that we are not a small business and will seek legal action if they continue to call us. I have tried to use their option of the do not call list and big surprise they do not understand the meaning of do not call

That is the best solution I have seen to date!  
I have decided to start doing the same for any and every telemarketer phone call that I receive.  I will post the #, name, and contact info of some C-level and harass them as often as they do to me.

I get calls daily as well from (402) 982-0869.  When I answer I get a very loud buzz and then a click and the line is dead.  I called Citistream a few min. ago and was told that the number had been flagged for theft and that they have no client attached to it.  I was told that it was not an outbound number and only a number identifier and there was nothing they could do about.  He said I should contact my service provider and tell them that I am receiving annoying calls from a number identifier that is spoofing but he doubts they will be able to trace.  So basically in a nutshell,  Deal with it, Citistream is not going to help and you just have to put up with these jokers calling.  What a bunch of BS that is.

Yes, i am also on the National Do Not Call List ... but i still get calls from these people .... thanks Big Brother, for stopping these stupid calls

Its always on the fax so I dont pick it up.  But my number is on the national do not call list. If they continue I will persue action.

402-982-0869 calls our business several time per day every day. Got to an operator and was told that they would/could continue to call for 30 days. They automated call started 10 minuets after that conversation with the operator. Called back and was told they could call as much as they wanted for the next 30 days. Filed a complaint with the FCC.

When you call back this number, it gives you a recording that says this phone not in service.

Keep a whistle by your phone. When you receive a call and answer, be sure there is someone at the other end. There is a sound booster on their headset and when you blow the whistle, their ear will ring for the rest of the day. It worked for me and the harassing calls stopped.

Calls from (402) 982-0869?  I get them reguarly - I don't answer them but next one I'm giving the phone to my 1 year old...gaga gugu talk is all they will get!

253-561-7906, doesn't leave a message. But today, I didn't pick up, and immediately got a call from 402-982-0869. I think its the same guy! Just calls multiple times every day, I don't pick up.

I Just got a missed call from this number today. When i call back, i get a message saying it's not a working number.  

In my opinion, phone numbers should be as secret as Social Security numbers. Most company?s use your phone number to identify you.

I just now called them back, and WOW, a real surprise "The number you dialed is not in service, please check the number and try again"

Been there done that - DOESN'T HELP! Just a passive way of dealing with the public, and an aggressive way for the DO NOT CALL(s) to continue. I know is sucks, but that's how it UNFORTUNATELY it is.

Keep getting unwanted recorded debt management calls on my cell phone

I am on the do not call list & get unwanted calls from telemarketers daily, up to 5 times from the same number...the do not call list does not stop these calls on cell phones, no matter if you have registered your number!

The number that came up was 402-982-0869 and when I went to call back after missng the call, a recorded message came up saying that this was a number that is no longer in service. WOW....must be a very desperate guy to play stupid  games using spoof scams and to stoop to harassment at dinner time is the oldest trick in the book...thank God I'm single and have no kids or family to cook for and have a GR8 life, but I am speaking on behalf of others who indeed do have families and and too busy to deal with such nonsense. This ID confusion crap that shows an incoming number as NO LONGER IN SERVICE is all that I need to make a stink to a few officials in mind at the top of my head....the BBB for sure, and with nothing but time on my hands, I intend to do just that. The guy's name is Mike Montes and his wife, Amy...their address is, 26961 Via La Mirada #100, San Juam Capistrano, CA 92675 and I plan to make good use of this info. Thanks for exposing yourself, you're obviously not very bright and calling my number from, 402-982-0869 which states it's no longer in service only 2 minutes after I missed the call only helps me fight back! 402-982-0869 is a telemarketer making unsolicited calls. When you call back it's a 'non-working number'

Same as everyone else.  I forward my business line to my cell phone.  I saved the number that keeps calling, then on my cell phone it has an option to check for it to go straight to vmail.  I chose that option.  So far so good.  It doesnt eliminate the calls but they will never talk to me as far as I am concerned.  For the people who did the digging on who this is...GREAT JOB.  Yes, a few eggs at his home or a couple of fire-poop bags on his doorstep works great.  Although I dont advocate for violence.  Some people do just need to have their a***s kicked.  :-)

So the number has found my business too.  I tried to call it back and got a message that it was disconnected.  Then it called again.  No voice on the other end.  I already called and left a message with Michael Montes, but will also follow up at BBB... Thanks for the blog!!

Annoyed@FU.com) and tell this guy whatever you want. His name is Michael Montes and his wife Amy. Lets all bombard them!!!  Also, dial *67 to block your ID and call him at (949) 683-0498.
