A number of people on Camano Island, Washington received calls from this number, urging them to vote against a library proposition, referring to far right wing anti tax paranoia and made up facts.  If the above note about the FTC action is right, then most likely this vendor is selling sleazy tactics to political operators who are unethical enough to hire them.  

Robo-call from a scumbag politician named Ron Gallegos running for Longmont, Colorado city council. Politicians that use this tactic will NEVER receive my vote!

Got two calls from this number.  
They both were Robocalls for Alieta Eck, a candidate in the NJ Republican Senate Primary to fill the seat held be the late Senator Lautenberg.  

If you want my vote, don't annoy me with Robocalls.   If you call me, at least have a real person on the other end so that I can discuss the candidate?s positions.  

Unfortunately, Lonegan, her opponent, has been annoying me with robocalls as well.  

Maybe I will vote for Bugs Bunny.

I wouldn't hold it against these Politicians.

It's possible they may not even be aware that these calls are being made. They may not have authorized the calls. And, sometimes, they are calling to see if the phone number is a valid number and then they prepare telemarketing lists and sell them.  

Either way they are incredibly disruptive and highly annoying and should be illegal.

Also, I wouldn't ditch the home land-line as they are a good idea in case of a serious emergency.

When you call 911 from a home land-line your home address and nearest cross-street lights up on the police/fire/ambulance dispatch boards. From a cell phone all they can see is the number and the nearest cell tower, which doesn't tell them anything about your location, in case caller is unable to speak ... it happens.

RoboCall for NJ Senatorial Candidate on 8/10/13

Got a call from this number just now. A voicemail was left, and it turned out to be a robo-call for a candidate for my local village prtesident race.

I frequently get calls from 4029820898. They want to sell me a security system. The calls consume my cell minutes and are disruptive. I'm in the national do not call registry. What a joke that is.

It's Election Day, 2012, and I just got calls from a local Dhimmicrat using this number on both my home and cell phones.

I am on the National DO NOT CALL list, I have had 2 calls from these folks in less than 24 hours! They never leave a message!

Keep getting calls from this number. I do not answer ~ let it go to answering system. Of course they NEVER leave a message. Have no clue as to who they are or what they want. Must not be important or they would leave a message.

I received a robo-call from this number telling me to "remember to vote No on measure G."  That is the measure that will zone medical marijuana shops out of business.

i keep getting calls from this number and when i call it back its either busy or no one answers this happens several times a week. when i have answered o the second ring they hang up right away.

today, the robocall recorded message identified the call as a political ad for "Robert Stovall".

This number has called my house 13 times today alone!!!!  I have no idea who it is but I have my DND on becasue I am so tired of all the politcal calls right now.

Just recieved a call from this number;  no message left.  And I'm nowhere near Nebraska.

I, too, just recieved 6 calls from this same number. I live in northern California, and the first call started at 4:13 pm on Wednesday, May 9th. They called twice in a row. When I called back, the call could not finish. They called twice again at 4:25, then twice again at 4:28. On the 6th call, I answered, only to be immediately disconnected. Call Duration: 2 seconds.

I urge anyone else having been called from this number to give as much information as possible on this issue. Thank you.

Got a political voicemail but the intro was cut off.  I got THREE voicemails in a row, cluttering up my inbox. Why do candidates think this is a good idea?

Got a recorded phone call urging a no vote for a community college bond measure. I'm in Douglas County Oregon. This pissed me off. I'll definitely vote yes now.

Robo-calls Sunday and today: 1) endorsing Bryan Collins and 2) Bryan Collins, himself, asking for our vote on May 1.  Are we really going to have to get one of these daily until then?  We are on the do not call list, but have a business line listing as well, so I guess we're fair game.  Calls returned to the number get fast-busy signal.  No opportunity on the call to press a number to opt out.  Left a message concerning same on Bryan Collins home phone, in hopes that he doesn't know how his advertising calls are being handled.

Robo call for local (Chesapeake, VA) candidate for city council, someone I won't even consider voting for now.

We received a call from 402-982-0898 on several occasions.  The ID read: UNK Caller, and left no message.  We are on the No Call List, however, each time we report one of these telemarketers, we get a rash of new calls.

Just got this call too couple minutes ago and I called that number back and all I got was a pre-recorded saying:  "Your call cannot be completed as dialed."  "Please check the number and dial  again."  STUPID IDIOTS!!
