Calgary Herald - Calls Daily

I used to subscribe, but just wasn't worth it for the amount that I read.  Now, they call so often that I can hardly imagine subscribing ever again.  Harassing people is a poor business practice.

Could also be the National Post? I dont and have never subscribed to the Calgary Herald, but I do subscribe to the Post.

I keep getting calls from the Calgary Hearld. Checked the do not call list and see that newspapers are exempt from the list. That really sucks.

Recieved about 20 calls last week or so and everytime requested that my # be removed... want to send me free copy of calgary herald... i tell them everytime that i dont need it

when i told the caller that im going to complain since my # is on the Do Not Call List, the marketer rudely replied that they are an exception being a newspaper (which, unfortunately as I found out, is true).

I swear in my entire life I will never subscribe to Calgary Herald ever... this is a very bad business tactic harassing customers... i will tell my friends who have their subscription to cancel it...

Ughhhhh this is so annoying! They called me today at 1:50 pm, then again at 3:45, then AGAIN at 7 pm.

These calls just started a few days ago and are every few hours.  No messages, but it uses all the time in my voice mail so it is always plugged.  I too am on the no call list and I do not even live in Calgary to get the Calgary Herald.  If it is the Calgary Herald, it is super annoying. I am not interested.  Stop calling.

I blew a whistle in his ear and its been two days now.   Maybe I found the cure.

Now that the Calgary Herald has harassed me for the 8th time in 4 days...I wouldnt get a subscription from them if they gave it to me free.  
And.....if you call the number they call from....they tell you to give them your number and you will be taken off their list.  ha!.....they just call every number that leaves their number.

Wish the better business bureau would get involved.

Just received their 6th call of the week even though I told them clear NO at least 4 times. The last time the guy said he'll remove my number from the list.

I'm seriously hating Calgary Herald now and will make sure that my Uncles and friends who have it, cancel their subscription. This is Harassment.

theyve been calling me nonstop for the last 4-5 days, pickup and no answer, its 10am and theyve already called my number 3 times, along with 5 retries yesterday, and with 2-4 retries the previous days. i am getting sick of this and am ready to start throwing the word "harassment" in to the mix.

i dont see how someone in edmonton would like to buy their crappy paper.

3 calls received today from this number, do not recognize it, did not answer and no message left.
This is not the first time I have received calls from this number.

How do you block a call? They phone me twice to three times a day and I'm starting to get a little annoyed. I don't answer, but if I can block it, I will.

BTW, at no time when I answered the phone did I get a message or a person on the line - only dead air

After receiving more than 2 dozen calls from this number, I finally got through to their voicemal which advised me I could leave my phone number twice in a message and be removed from the list. I was getting 3 and 4 calls a day sometimes. Even had a student come to the door canvassing for the newspaper promotion.

Time will tell if this works.
I had called a number of times and only got the message that the mailbox was full, but persisted and did get through. Hope it works.

This number called me this morning and when I picked it up it asked me to subscribe to a newspaper. I said no and now its been calling me all day. when i call back i get the calgary herald? dont know why, i dont think the herald would be doing that. it just a pain in the butt.

This number calls several times a day, every second day. They never leave a message.

This number is calling me constantly, leaves no message.  Answered once caller said Whatzup! heard second voice say "Si" and then call was terminated on their end.  I really don't think this is the Calgary Hearld
