I got a call from this number the same day at 12:33 PM, and they did leave a message. Thinking it was a local Calgary business given the number, I listened to it, just to hear that same old spam crap offering me to reduce my debt by thousands of dollars, as if I had any in the first place.
This is obviously some 1-800 number that has now resorted to a new trick : it spoofs its number as to appear as a local one, a tactic that will make a 1-800-call-weary populace more likely to answer.

Got one today at 1:14pm. No message. If it's important they well call back, if it's not important why call in the first place.

I wanted to speak to someone to get a name of the company and as I just let the recorded message play over and over, it cut out at about 8 mins. I wonder who to report this to?

If you call back, the recording says the number is not in service and Shaw says they can't do anything about it - bogus. I think Shaw is in on it too.

Credit card scammers who are using VOIP to hide their true location. They change the numbers frequently to make it impossible to block thier calls.

yet another recorded call on the "reduce your credit card debt" scam....interesting that it is now showing on call display as a 403 area code....

Sneaky b******s are hiding behind 403 #s now. Whatever happened to the no call list?

I guess once I've blocked every phone number combination that exists, it will be time to get rid of my home phone...

Credit Card debt jerks calling with a pre-recorded message. I've read in other notes posted here that if you press any of the numbers, including to be taken off the list, that you get a charge billed to your phone. I keep blocking their calls but they keep getting new numbers. The phone companies are complicit with this scam as they keep giving them new numbers.
